  1. Nice job by Danks. Let's get the offense going now
  2. Here it comes. Wait for it......
  3. That swing by Flowers is why I don't have hope for him no matter who many home runs he hits in 2 games
  4. Who didn't see that coming as soon as the ball hit the ground?
  5. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jul 3, 2015 -> 07:07 PM) Tradition / unofficial rule says that if you're on a win streak making gamethreads, you have dibs from the end of the game to start of the next one. The start? I thought it was like 30 min before game. Well Mike is nowhere to be found, oh well
  6. Nobody has started and I was at our last two wins so figured I would give it a chance. Hopefully I can bring the luck for Danks. Eaton Abreu Cabrera LaRoche Garcia Gillaspie Ramirez Flowers Sanchez

QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Jul 3, 2015 -> 03:02 PM) I have the IJ app, and they answer fan questions and one of the fans asked about being recognizing them and ruining their bits. They said they do a lot of stuff in wide open areas and plant "security" all over the places to look for people who identify the guys and pull them aside so they don't spoil it. And the popularity of the show means its harder for them to get through segments without someone figuring them out, but it all makes sense to me. I believe it's real. Exactly, I have heard them say multiple times that if they are recognized they put the people off to the side and the guys will sign stuff for them or take pictures after they are done shooting. With any show on TV there will be always be stuff that is staged that is why I think 85-90% of the show is real.

QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Jul 2, 2015 -> 11:44 PM) Since you three seem to have been watching it for a while, is the show 100% real? I love it either way, but I feel like some of the reactions of the people around them seem too scripted to be true. Based off everything I have heard from the podcast and everything I think 90% of everything is real. They put ads in the paper or craigslist for the panels and stuff where they need an audience for. But it really seems real to me and even if it isn't I still love the show and the guys are just funny people.
  9. QUOTE (onedude @ Jul 2, 2015 -> 07:20 PM) Reyes, Grichuk, and Martinez is a start...what else are they giving us? If that's the offer, walk away laughing my as off. With our hole at 2B you have to have Wong in the deal
  10. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jul 2, 2015 -> 07:00 PM) I'm guessing Danks to pen. And they get rid of Carroll? Maybe Danks is hurt or they want to shut down Rodon until after the all-star break?
  11. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 2, 2015 -> 05:07 PM) Martinez, Wong, Grichuk, Reyes and Rooney Throw in Derek Gibson as well

QUOTE (Brian @ Jul 2, 2015 -> 12:46 PM) I sprung for the feeds since they are only $6 a month and I can watch past seasons and watch on my roku. All the good stuff has happened when I'm not able to tune in and have had to read about it. You can always go back and watch the stuff if you can get a timestamp which you can usually find. I have always only watched feeds on Thursdays after HOH so I don't get stuff spoiled for me but this year I have been watching some and it has been great. I'm not sure how long I will be watching them as the season goes along though

QUOTE (Brian @ Jul 2, 2015 -> 12:00 PM) They said on the premiere they will show her tonight. I'm glad it's her. She's the hottest female this season to me. Her body is great, her face is good, her voice is bad.
  14. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 2, 2015 -> 12:31 PM) Lots of speculation it's either Dodgers or Cubs How do anyone of those teams continue to have money to sign all these international guys
  15. QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 1, 2015 -> 01:50 PM) City Museum in St. Louis is just about the coolest place on earth It was so much fun when I was in middle school. It is still really cool but I went there a couple years ago with younger cousins and I couldn't do anything lol. But if you have kids it is must when in St. Louis
  16. QUOTE (BigEdWalsh @ Jul 2, 2015 -> 01:11 AM) The Cubs?! I know you were just joking around but have you ever been to Busch Stadium? About 30 minutes before every game the emcee says "welcome to baseball heaven" in regards to Busch Stadium and St. Louis. Makes me want to puke
  17. Love beating the team with the best fans in baseball in the home of baseball heaven
  18. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 2, 2015 -> 12:47 AM) Why bring in Carroll? Let the ushers go home, not have to sit through this. Carroll isn't that bad and is perfect for this situation
  19. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 2, 2015 -> 12:39 AM) See, you cannot EVER believe in this team. And I "kind of" blame that on Robin. Because this team is so fricking bizarre you just know it's gonna get owned anytime it plays a Central Division team and it'll just drop 5-6 in a row for the hell of it. I'll never believe in this team till it does it for a long, long period of time sadly. Nice to see 'em win, though. He's a perfect backup catcher and he might thrive with a better organization/hitting coach, etc. There is ability there. I've seen it. The guy is gonna hit 15-20 homers for the second straight year. That's good numbers, certainly worthy of being a backup at the worst; maybe a starter with proper development. He's hit some majestic bombs as a member of the Sox. His best drive was that one barely foul that one time on the road, I forget the stadium. My god it was deep. Let's pump the breaks on him hitting 15-20 home runs. We are nearly half way through the season and he has 7 with 2 coming the last 2 nights
  20. If I could pick one team to sweep all year it would the Cardinals.
  21. QUOTE (jeffro2525 @ Jul 1, 2015 -> 06:58 PM) This is exactly me. I've managed hotels for 10 years and travel to KC, St. Louis and make trips to U.S Cellular a few times a year...I can't spend another dollar this year even though I can get rooms for $39 or cheaper. You can hook a brother up
  22. Flowers bomb! Had to leave the game early. Dad did not want to stay any longer lol
  23. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 30, 2015 -> 09:06 PM) Pitchers in Major League Baseball history with 10+ strikeouts in 8 straight games: 1. Pedro Martinez 2. Chris Sale Did Pedro get to 9 games?
  24. QUOTE (flavum @ Jul 1, 2015 -> 12:16 PM) We shall see. I think they'll play and weather won't be as bad as it may seem. I think after 7:30 there is going to be strong storms/showers all night until probably 1ish (just watched the weather with them showing the future radar tonight). Some storms could be really bad and I don't know why they would want to put fans through that especially when there is more rain to come behind it
