  1. QUOTE (flavum @ Jul 1, 2015 -> 12:09 PM) I think they used to have curfew rules when a lot of parks were in neighborhoods. The home team is in charge of the game starting, but once they start it's in the hands of the umpires. And when it's a teams' last time (or only time) visiting, they wait it out as long as possible. I would be in favor of playing it on the 20th. Not like Chicago and St. Louis are far apart.
  2. QUOTE (flavum @ Jul 1, 2015 -> 11:57 AM) Their only shared off day the rest of the season is July 20. They'll be there as late as possible if they have to. Isn't there some kind of rules with regards to starting a game or playing a game time wise?
  3. QUOTE (flavum @ Jul 1, 2015 -> 11:53 AM) They'll play. It's not an all day rain there. Sox off tomorrow. Cardinals stay home. They'll be there til 2am if they have to. I live here. It's suppose to rain from 7pm on for most of the night. That can change obviously. They both have an off day July 20th before they play each other in Chicago
  4. I don't see this game being played. I hope the call it sooner than risk everyone going to the game.
  5. The game being played tomorrow night doesn't look very promising

QUOTE (Jose Abreu @ Jun 30, 2015 -> 10:18 PM) Watched Impractical Jokers for the first time today... I spent most of the episode laughing. Great show You have a lot to catch up on. Such a funny ass show. Go see them live if you ever get the chance too. If you are into podcasts, Sal and Q have one that is pretty funny as well
  7. At the game. I seriously had no hope to score a run the whole game. I knew in the 2nd inning when we had bases loaded and 0 outs with Flowers and Sanchez up we wouldn't score. Such a s***ty feeling. Luckily Flowers ran into a home run to win the game!
  8. QUOTE (Leonard Zelig @ Jul 1, 2015 -> 12:04 AM) Fun game. The first 2 Sox fans I saw had a Leury Garcia jersey and a Dan Jennings t shirt jersey. Did you see me with my 1983 Frank Thomas jersey?
  9. I will be at the game. Hoping for a Chris Sale perfect game

QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Jun 29, 2015 -> 09:57 PM) I really liked Bloodline on Netflix. Watched that. It was great. Took me about a week to watch it all. I watch True Detective, watched the first episode of Ballers, Brink looks interesting I will have to check that one out
  11. QUOTE (InTheDriversSeat @ Jun 29, 2015 -> 07:43 PM) I am going on Wednesday night. This will be my first visit to the new Busch Stadium. But I did attend a game at the previous Busch stadium in the early 90's before the playing surface was changed from astroturf to natural grass. I know that the Cardinals are very popular and have a huge local following in their area. Does anyone think that cheap, walk-up tickets will be available at the stadium box office? I plan on getting to the Busch Stadium around 5PM, and I am concerned that the game could sell-out. I haven't tried it but I don't think they would be cheap. It won't be any cheaper then what is on stub hub or seatgeek right now

Any new shows this past spring or that have started this summer worth a watch? Think I will watch Mr. Robot but looking for something else me and my fiancee can watch
  13. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Jun 29, 2015 -> 05:06 PM) He'll be here in 2016 regardless Yeah it seems that way. But how is having someone on the team that doesn't want to be there good for the team? I know he will be fighting for another contract if that is what happens but doesn't mean he will play good team ball. Butler is by far my favorite on my team and I really hope everything we heard from other people isn't true and he truly wants to be here and he will sign a contract for 3+ years
  14. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jun 29, 2015 -> 04:18 PM) Vincent Goodwill ‏@vgoodwill 31m31 minutes ago The maximum QO for Jimmy Butler is the right strategy by the Bulls. Prevents S/T, Limits options to very few. Game of chicken it appears If he wants to be here he will be here. If he doesn't want to be here then why force him?
  15. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jun 28, 2015 -> 08:32 PM) Last month I witnessed them start the wave in the 8th inning when the Cubs had the tying run come to the plate. Can only imagine how this series will go. But yes Ballpark Village is a great time but f*** the Cards and their fans. I hate the damn wave and hate the whole "baseball heaven" "best fans in baseball" s***. I hope Sale goes in there and strikes out 14 while allowing 3 hits or less
  16. QUOTE (raBBit @ Jun 28, 2015 -> 06:01 PM) You think Sox tickets are expensive what did you expect? lol Anyone going should head up early and hang around in Ballpark Village. Really cool area for Cards fans. I have gone to a lot of Cardinals games with family and friends before. I usually can get bleacher seats from $8-15 dollars a piece off stubhub. They are giving away a replica 1982 World Series Statue on Tuesday and has driven the prices up quite a bit for a Tuesday night.

    Battle Bots FTW!!
  18. tickets for Tuesday are outrageous
  19. QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 28, 2015 -> 02:54 PM) I felt after he hit the batter he should be removed. Leave him in til he gives up a run. Though he did come back and whiff Miggy after that I believe. Hard call with these aces. Guys like Shark, Verlander, Sale don't like to be taken out. They are ornery about it. Jeff is not an ace. Like I said only a few pitchers should stay in with a scenario like that. It doesn't matter if they don't want to be taken out, that is why we have a manager
  20. Only we would keep a starter in who loads the bases in the 8th inning with 0 outs. There only are a few pitchers I would keep in for a situation like that and Jeff is not one of them
  21. Glad we kept him in. Dumbass Robin..
  22. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 28, 2015 -> 02:41 PM) Petricka loosening up "in a hurry" because he wasn't up at the start of the 8th inning. Sigh. WHERE IS PUTNAM!!??!
  23. Melky is just not starting to hit from both sides.
  24. Why is Emilio still on the roster
