QUOTE (greg775 @ Jul 8, 2015 -> 09:17 PM) Has he earned his big league pension for life yet? Hope so. People in Liberty say he's the best guy, best human being. He is a good long reliever, we need one of those

2014-2015 NBA thread
So why couldn't we score these 4 runs last night when we had a good pitcher out there?

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Jul 8, 2015 -> 08:39 PM) How does he score after holding up like that? Ugh Because Melky was in the stands I guess

QUOTE (Dunt @ Jul 8, 2015 -> 08:24 PM) Alex Gordon carted off field just now, serious injury in collision with wall. Somewhere, caulfield sob softly into his pillow. Did he break something or was it more a concussion?

QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jul 8, 2015 -> 07:43 PM) Was that a missed hit and run by Eaton? Has to be. That or Flowers thought he got a steal sign? lol

QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jul 8, 2015 -> 05:23 PM) Look at his splits. Sadly, or inexplicably, he's hitting much better against RHP than LHP. 696 vs righties, 450 vs. RHP in about 60 PA's. Balta for White Sox Manager, 2015. Who is better against RHP, Conor or Beckham?

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jul 8, 2015 -> 05:20 PM) Didn't Conor have an injury (Plantar Fasciitis or something?) thrown in there? I thought it was bothering him in spring training? I am sure it is still lingering though.

GT: White Sox (37-44) vs. Blue Jays (44-42) [7:10CT/8:10ET]
QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Jul 8, 2015 -> 04:54 PM) Robin has really soured on Conor cause of his defense I think. All the more reason to try out Davidson. But before this series Conor has been starting against RHP for a couple weeks I think.

Why is Beckham starting against a RHP?

QUOTE (Knackattack @ Jul 8, 2015 -> 01:51 PM) I'm gonna say Danks gives a 6inning/3ER performance, picks up the W and only gives up 1 homer. You know that means we have to score 4 runs in 6 innings right?

Have a feeling the Blue Jays are going to smash Danks..

Really wish I could be there, unfortunately my family planned a vacation during that weekend over a year ago. Looking forward to watching all the videos though

7/7 Games
QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 7, 2015 -> 10:05 PM) Yes, it was on pace to be the worst of all time In regards to runs allowed or what? Like I said, watching he didn't look so bad that he should be sent down. If anything working with MLB coaches and players every day should help his defense more then AAA

2005 Reunion Weekend
QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Jul 7, 2015 -> 10:18 PM) When you admittedly quit on your team because you didn't have a contract extension then you can be booed. Not really point of the reunion. Celebrate the team who brought a world series to Chicago.

7/7 Games
QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Jul 7, 2015 -> 10:02 PM) Micah homered in his last AB. 4/6, HR, SB. He is hitting .309. His OBP is around .370. I wonder when Hahn is ready to sacrifice some defense at one of the least important defensive positions on the field for some MUCH MUCH MUCH needed offense and energy. Even if Hahn is ready to call his season over, I'd rather have Micah learn defense at the major league level than Sanchez learn hitting a the major league level. I still think they gave up on Micah way too quickly. Was his defense really costing us a lot of runs? I really can't recall him be THAT horrible in order to sacrifice him for a .160 hitter
