Technology catch-all thread
I need some advice: I am looking to get a new laptop (Windows), I don't use it for gaming or anything big just surfing the web, watching movies/shows, school work, etc.. I want to get a new model computer that will run well with Windows 10. I would also like it to be touch screen if possible. Also would like one that is going still run fast and well even if there are multiple things going on at once. I would like to stay at $500 or less. My current screen size is 15.6 so I would like to stay in that range. Any suggestions? I don't know a lot about specs with computers so any advice would be appreciated.

Mark Buehrle to retire?
QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 15, 2015 -> 11:16 PM) No thanks, he can go to St. Louis. I would rather have Buehrle then Danks in the rotation.

Mark Buehrle to retire?
QUOTE (AlSoxfan @ Oct 15, 2015 -> 06:59 PM) MARK BUEHRLE DENIES RETIREMENT TALK The veteran pitcher, who was left off the Blue Jays' active roster for the playoffs thus far, said he hasn't made a decision to call it quits at age 36, despite reports to the contrary at the end of the regular season. I still think he wants to end his career in St. Louis or Chicago

QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Oct 14, 2015 -> 05:46 PM) © He interferes with the catcher’s fielding or throwing by stepping out of the batter’s box or making any other movement that hinders the catcher’s play at home base. EXCEPTION: Batter is not out if any runner attempting to advance is put out, or if runner trying to score is called out for batter’s interference. Rule 6.06© Comment: If the batter interferes with the catcher, the plate umpire shall call “interference.” The batter is out and the ball dead. No player may advance on such interference (offensive interference) and all runners must return to the last base that was, in the judgment of the umpire, legally touched at the time of the interference. If, however, the catcher makes a play and the runner attempting to advance is put out, it is to be assumed there was no actual interference and that runner is out—not the batter. Any other runners on the base at the time may advance as the ruling is that there is no actual interference if a runner is retired. In that case play proceeds just as if no violation had been called. If a batter strikes at a ball and misses and swings so hard he carries the bat all the way around and, in the umpire’s judgment, unintentionally hits the catcher or the ball in back of him on the backswing before the catcher has securely held the ball, it shall be called a strike only (not interference). The ball will be dead, however, and no runner shall advance on the play. Look up 6.03A That is the one they keep citing on the TV broadcast

QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Oct 14, 2015 -> 05:44 PM) The 2nd play was not an error on Andrus, it was an error on the 1B. He still has 2 errors. 1st batter and then dropping the ball at 3rd

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Oct 14, 2015 -> 05:43 PM) Definitely no intent but they did call the play dead didn't they? Yeah the home ump called it dead when Odor was about halfway to home (he would have been safe no matter what). I am confused as well why he can change that part of it. Andrus with the dropsies
