7.8 Games
QUOTE (Chicago White Sox @ Jul 8, 2013 -> 11:47 PM) Kind of unfair to call Semien a "flavor of the month type" after he put up an .830 OPS in A+ last year. This year his .798 OPS would qualify him for 10th in the Southern League. The kid is only 22 years old, so while he's older than Sanchez, he's not old for his league by any means. No one is saying Semien's a stud prospect, but he's doing fairly well in AA, and the plate discipline is promising. Sanchez on the other hand has yet to show much improvement over the course of this year. If I saw his AVG & OBP slowly climbing month by month, then this wouldn't be up for debate IMO, but right now that's not the case. He's just plained suck all year. Hopefully Sanchez shows something in July & August, but until then, I think a case can be made for Semien over Sanchez. I would wait until next year. I am sure Sanchez is going to end up figuring out the pitching and hitting for average again. He will work hard in the offseason and be in AAA for a 2nd year which will help a lot.

QUOTE (Jake @ Jul 8, 2013 -> 10:23 PM) I will find some way to make Curley hitting a million home runs mean something Why aren't we talking about this guy more?? Oh wait his age. Damn that age. Who cares about age, if he is 30 and gets to the big leagues and produces, that is all that matters.

QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Jul 8, 2013 -> 02:18 PM) It would be nice wouldn't it. Even a guy like Kolten Wong. Wong is knocking on the door but they have Carpenter. Being a Cardinals fan would be awesome man. I always get s*** from my family for not being a Cardinals fan since I have lived near St. Louis all my life but have always been a White Sox fan

QUOTE (BigEdWalsh @ Jul 7, 2013 -> 10:53 PM) Do it. Brown is an upgrade and your pitching will still be pretty strong. Besides, three for one, who knows what you can get off waivers, though we know in a 20 team league there's not a lot out there. There isn't. Tried to get Phegley off of waivers but the other White Sox fan had a better position and stole him from me.. lol. But there isn't anything on waivers. It is technically two for one since the prospect isn't on my roster as of now. But I am really thinking about it. I offered him Burnett and Westbrook first, if he doesn't I will probably do the original deal he asked

QUOTE (Reddy @ Jul 7, 2013 -> 09:41 PM) Hah! well there ya go Amazing that I thought Cain was younger, but maybe that's just because I've been hearing about Brown for so long. At only 25, yeah he's obviously the better call and the better bet going forward. Cya credibility! I still like Minor, but if you really think hitting is a weak point, go for it. Quentin's days are numbered, and OF is a surprisingly shallow position to fill. I had no idea Brown was still 25... haha crazytown Quentin is actually have a pretty decent year .273, 10 HR, 28 RBI, 32 R in 64 games. Good bench guy but Brown would be better. I like Minor and would rather give the guy Burnett and Westbrook or something instead of Minor

I am basically trying to decide if I would rather have Minor or Brown. Both are the same age. I have pretty good pitching at this point but need the hitting. I asked him if he would do Burnett instead of Minor but I doubt he will.

QUOTE (Reddy @ Jul 7, 2013 -> 09:31 PM) i just dont see Brown's ceiling being higher than Cain. They're really similar players and Cain is younger right (dont remember off the top of my head) I like the Burnett for Cuddyer trade though. Cain- 27 years old, career .272 hitter, with 12 home runs, 80 RBI's, 26 SB, in 184 games This year- .257, 4 HR, 35 RBI, 36 R, 9 SB Brown- 25 years old, career .254 avg, 34 home runs, 118 RBI's, 13 SB, in 234 games This year- .281, 23 HR, 62 RBI, 49 R, 8 SB (All-Star) Brown has the power and has seem to find it this year, would much rather have him then Cain. I need some power pretty bad.

Yeah, its a dynasty league so get to keep everyone and we have a farm system of up to 10 prospects but that could expand next year. I told him I would give Burnett instead. But if not I am going to try and get Cuddyer for Burnett instead. I need hitting at this point, younger is better. C- Lucroy 1B- Fielder 2B- Scutaro SS- Rollins 3B- Headley LF- Quentin CF- Crisp RF- Ethier BN- Gillaspie BN- Cain BN- Viciedo I am currently in 5th place but should be in 4th tomorrow. I need to get a bit younger and I feel Brown could do that.

QUOTE (Reddy @ Jul 7, 2013 -> 08:55 PM) is your need at OF more desperate long term than your need at SP? because i dont give a crap about cain and alfaro - but minor has the potential to be a solid #3 for some time. He is my starting pitching right now Chris Sale Mike Minor Matt Cain Miguel Gonzalez Jose Quintana AJ Burnett Jordan Lyles Jake Westbrook Bronson Arroyo

Thanks guys! I have pulled out of the deal. Belt would of been my 1B This is a 20 team dynasty league too so its tough. I am trying to get Cuddyer for Burnett right now. My pitching is pretty good at this point and I can afford to give up Burnett for Cuddyer who has been tearing it up this year. My outfield next week will look like this LF- Quentin CF- Crisp RF- Ethier with Cain and Viciedo on the bench. That is the main reason I was trying to get McCutchen, my OF doesn't have a stud and wanted one. If I get Cuddyer I might try my best to get McCutchen without giving up Sale

Alright guys I need your input. I have been talking trades with this guy for awhile and wondering if you would do this deal Keep in mind this is a Dynasty League. Keep in mind my CF is Lorenzo Cain and I have a lot of pitchers. I would get: Andrew McCutchen, Brandon Belt, Hector Santiago, Brandon McCarthy, and prospect Robert Stephenson from the Reds He Gets: Prince Fielder, Chris Sale, and Lorenzo Cain would you do this deal or not??
