I'm surprised Ayala didn't play today. He went 3-for-5 yesterday, and is now hitting .308. Instead, they started Stoner behind the dish, hitting .083 with Thomore at DH. Thomore went 1-for-3 last night, raising his batting average to .048.

Well, this play looks to threaten the Mark Sanchez buttfumble in the Worst of the Worst.

I think that play is a great representation for this season for the Sox.

Sammy Ayala got his first hit of the 2013 campaign - a 2 RBI line drive single to right field. He struck out twice, and lined out to center.
