Yeah, no idea how McGuire has been doing since the trade, but you'd think they would have previously seen enough of Seby to know better, but here we are.
I’m not sure what it is, but Steve Stone definitely has an agenda. Maybe the org is fed up with Moncada behind the scenes, but we can’t exactly take what Stone says about the inner workings of this team as any sort of gospel.
She’s not wrong about the org, but totally off base as to why. Of course she’s going to defend her son, but he was objectively bad even w/o the Sox shitty D behind him.
When zero change came at the ASB we should have all recognised that nothing would change until the off-season, if that. What should and needs to be done and what the FO actually does never correlates much.
I’m still holding out hope, but damn is it hard to watch. I’d have more faith in a healthy org helping him find his previous form. Unfortunately, he plays for the Chicago White Sox.
Ooof, yeah, Reds might be the least enviable franchise in MLB. KC is a mess but they’ve at least had some recent success. Rockies & Royals are definitely down there somewhere too.
