  1. 20 years ago I would be upset that I couldn't walk to the ballpark for a game any time I wanted. Now? Go! Please, move! Please let me get to and from my house late after a gig without a maddening sea cars all trying to squeeze onto Wenthworth or 37th...
  2. When the White Sox move away from 35th & Shields, and the area is finally redeveloped, there will be a solitary webber grill locked to a lamp post to serve vigil for the tailgating days past. A single candle flickering in the night, and the wind will whisper Tray's name...
  3. Supposedly, but we will never know the whole story, or what is or isn't true.
  4. The better question is when this designation happened, and whether is was before or after Chicago annexed the Town of Lake.
  5. Something something Tray doesn't even live on the Southside...
  6. I am late to the party, but this is accurate. These facilities were active within the past decade.
  7. Comiskey II in 1991 and and the UC in 1994. Little to nothing has been developed outside either location for decades. Call it whatever you will, but if he tried, he didn't try very hard.
  8. As the West Loop? Not even close. West Loop has transformed while Bridgeport has remained virtually the same.
  9. United Center has been open since 1994? For 30 years nothing has been developed on those UC lots. If JR really wanted to he could have greased wheels to get things done.
  10. Currently mostly unused. But it exists for a reason. It was in use not that long ago. We aren't talking decades either.
  11. Bridgeport is not gentrifying. Yes there are million dollar single family homes now, but there has't been a vast transformation over the past 20 years like we have seen in the South or West Loop.
  12. Yes. This is definitlely much shorter than before the trade.
  13. You say this now, but when the ground opens and swallows them whole … … … hahahahahah
  14. Probably has more to with which VPN you were using.
  15. A head scratching pick no doubt, but that has more to do with the player and the Sox decision making than anything.
  16. Certainly doesn’t instill much confidence that real org change has taken place.
  17. I’ll have to check. I do seem to remember spring games being unavailable but I could be wrong.
  18. Time to start scouring team sites for webcasts until the free mlb.tv sub renews😂
  19. So just another day that ends in Y?
  20. He better not. At least give him a few months in BHam.
  21. Getz fulfilled job #1.
  22. If the state is balking to this level for the Bears, it makes me think the Sox won't be going anywhere but across 35th street again.
