  1. They do feel pretty lifeless after last night. Bang up job Skip.
  2. New TLR banner should read "Sorry for the home run. I promise it won't happen again."
  3. TLR's last stand, protecting the unwritten rules.
  4. Yeah that seems pretty obvious at this point.
  5. That is where my head is too. FO knows it will fall on deaf ears and don't want to rock the boat.
  6. That is quite worrying honestly. Does no one in the FO have that power at this juncture?
  7. THAT is disrespecting the game and the opposition. The 49mph joke of a pitch dude tried to clown Yermin with is disrespectful.
  8. Again I ask, what is more important, competing until the very last out or whatever antiquated bullshit baseball etiquette he is espousing? Sadly we know the answer.
  9. I have had a 10 game plan disappear from my account after purchase only to freak out and contact them and be told it would be visible again soon. Not the exact same scenario but not unheard of with their account manager portal.
  10. So he's not secretly rallying the clubhouse to bond together in collective hatred and disdain of him so they go out and win it all to spite him?? Go figure.
  11. Reading complaints about the complaints is also already sooooo repetitive and boring. TLR keeps giving us things to criticize on a weekly and at times game by game basis. These aren't made up critiques, these are real things happening at his doing. And if you can't understand that the talent is winning despite these glaring managerial errors then I don't even know what to tell you.
  12. They must really not want to call anyone up from AAA yet, or TLR has veto power over roster moves to keep his shitty veterans around.
  13. Traffic coming through the circle or off the Eisenhower sucks ass, but with ample parking and multiple transit lines within walking distance I fail to think of a better more feasible location. Downtown is no longer feasible unfortunately, but with the right investment and publicity it could be a destination for a new generation of fans growing up on this club.
  14. This assumes that JR isn't in total agreement with TLR and actually wants whats best for his club and his friend. Which if he did TLR would have never been more than a passing mention as the coaching search began.
  15. I don't give a F about the Bears, but I would not be upset at all if they vacated the mistake on the lake and unclogged that part of the lakefront half of autumn Sundays.
  16. JR is 80 something and didn't want to foot the bill for infrastructure for a downtown ball park 30 years ago. He's not gonna self finance a park in Arlington Heights with its own set of logistical challenges now or in the next decade. There is also a minuscule chance any public money goes towards a new suburban stadium. I also don't see a new Sox park going anywhere but across 35th street from the current ballpark so this is all kind of moot.
