  1. Could be, but now this is taking the spotlight from Hector Gomez retweeting Heyman, which I think is pretty big.
  2. I don't think that's what he meant Didn't know that. When he tweeted yesterday, it seemed like most of the board/Twitter thought he was plugged in
  3. I doubt he's trolling, he did say this to a doubter: I do, however, have doubts about the info he's receiving
  4. For what it's worth (probably not much), @RichardERoeper (the guy who tweeted this initially) "liked" this response
  5. I think we should help him get a cab.
  6. After the Merkin interview on MLBN, Heyman came on and implied that we're in a good spot and the FO has done an excellent job selling to Machado, FWIW
  7. Yeah he was unusually positive.
  8. We've already had board insiders say it's not true
  9. He should be Todd Frazier's hitting coach
  10. Neither do 99% of the people who walk through it all the time. I appreciate the investigative work but I really don't think it means anything, it's just a phrase that he likes. It's even been in his Instagram bio for awhile now
  11. The pulse on various Phillies message boards is that they will sign Harper, perhaps as early as Saturday, by finally giving out that stupid money. At least that's what someone that they seem to trust said. I suppose that would leave us with Machado
  12. There's just no way that the Sox have come this far and tried this hard to suddenly decide they aren't offering more than $X. It's possible they've had a number that they won't cross from the start, but there's pretty much no chance that the number is 200 because they wouldn't even be a true contender in that event.
  13. I interpreted your response to Rowand as implying that the relevant info was somehow less reliable than what has come out since but I understand now.
  14. You were making a joke that you think people only trust the positive news and distrust the negative news (a joke I disagree with because I see it more the other way around, but that's beside the point). The positive news came from Bucket, raBBit, and WSD. The negative news came from Nightengale and Levine. That's where I'm coming from
  15. You trust Bob Nightengale and Bruce Levine more than Bucket, raBBit, and WSD?
  16. @ChiliIrishHammock24 remember when you were asking where you remembered that guy from, the one who tweeted Manny to the Sox? This was over a week before the signing, and before anyone even knew we were in on catchers/Castillo. He even nailed the terms. This is what he tweeted tonight. He has probably gotten stuff wrong before, but he nailed Castillo a week early so he at least has some semblance of a track record. ?
  17. Another day, probably
  18. I'd love for someone to interview Hahn/KW/Reinsdorf after the process is over and have them go in depth on what was going on each week, how often they were actually talking to the players/agents, etc. but I know it's unlikely
  19. If that’s the case, then the 6,000 reply thread will always be the longest because anything that would surpass it (such as this saga) would get chopped up into multiple threads
  20. Are we not counting the previous 84 and 70 page Machado threads from the last few weeks?
  21. The only thing I would advise against is hinting that you have inside information and then not posting anything
  22. Because of this maybe
  23. By posts or pages? I ask because I think pages are significantly longer since the migration
