  1. It’s easy to cherry pick OPS for a guy who doesn’t hit for power and ignore that he’s already our best OBP player on the whole team, I guess
  2. Perfect. Nothing to complain about, clear upgrade offensively and a small commitment
  3. And Jon Jay is precisely the high OBP/low strikeout guy we need right now, Machado ties aside. He would've led the team in OBP last year (.330).
  4. Does this mean you're signing with the White Sox too?
  5. Not to mention we have way more $$ to offer
  6. I was wrong- thanks for sharing this scoop
  7. The almighty Russo even acknowledging our existence is a step up already
  8. That account is a cesspool. Ever since Hayes left, everything non-Garfien from NBCS White Sox has been a bunch of clickbait nonsense
  9. I do think he signs this week, perhaps early this week. And yes, that someone was Dan Clark. WSD also said "in the next 5 days" on Thursday or Friday
  10. Same guy who claimed he had evidence that the Sox are going hard for both Machado and Harper a couple weeks ago, and that he'd post it at noon the next day, and it turned out he was just trolling everyone. I'm assuming he's just trolling again.
  11. I wouldn't say that Nagy sucked or didn't adjust, but he adjusted too late, and he should've had Mitch attacking the secondary from the start. That's my gripe.
  12. Nagy is far more conservative in general than people think. Today, he should've attacked what is a very weak Philadelphia secondary, but he didn't until the fourth quarter. That, more than anything, is why we lost. I wanted him to have learned the lesson after the KC playoff collapse last year, then after the Dolphins game this year. Not sure if this is what will finally do it for him.
  13. LHP, minor league career stats of 14 K/9 and 0.0 HR/9, but hasn't pitched in 3 years due to multiple TJ surgeries
  14. Exactly- if this were a Yankees or Red Sox guy talking down about us, it would still be douchey but at least make sense. A Dodgers reporter doing it is laughable.
  15. It usually means that they just want attention
  16. The self-loathing is funny, because I sure as hell wouldn't trade 2005 for the Dodgers' past few decades
  17. Does somebody want to tell him that the White Sox have more rings in the past 30 years than his Dodgers?
  18. Yes but apparently he still flew private, apparently O’Hare has an area for that
  19. Either way I’m pretty sure he only travels via private jet
  20. True. It's Dixon Machado, Marlins SS.
  21. I don't think the tweet is true but just because the guy seems to be from Baltimore doesn't mean he's flying from Baltimore
  22. Translation: Boras wants us to up our offer
  23. An offer without opt-outs is hardly an offer
  24. He's a Red Sox fan so I doubt he cares much, but I agree that it's probably nothing
