I don't put any credence into his rumor, what made me think that is the fact that the market for Machado is literally just three teams, so our odds are higher than I had thought they would be. But my reasoning for thinking we would get Harper is that I find it really hard to believe that he and Boras would leave $50-100 million on the table just to play with the Dodgers, and I personally believe the rumors that he doesn't want to play in Philadelphia.

I still predict Machado to the Phillies and Harper to us, although this week has made me consider the possibility of us getting Machado a bit more seriously
