Outside the obvious terrible no flag and Brees very poor decision in OT,Goff looked pretty damn great the whole second half. Also Gurley is great and all but CJ kinda showing the major help he gets in having an Elite OL.

Once the info came out that Manny isn't really close to him at all, I came to this same judgement. He might have talked to Manny a bit but doubt Manny suddenly let's his dad have a seat in his close circle.

I will say it will be interesting when both these guys sign and details pour out of the numbers that we're actually on the table and see which writers have real sources and which we're hacking away.

My money is on Boras. I think this whole process is becoming a very serious staredown between him and Lozano. I think Boras will win but Lozano keeping the Manny race alive is probably annoying the hell out of Boras.

These negotations have been deadlocked with the only information reaching even the closest of sources have been agent/GM misdirection IMO. On a normal FA I'd definitely believe Buster 100% of the time but these Harper/Machado negotiations have been very unique and that's a big reason why we're all getting weary of the constant contrarian info. He totally may be right, although i definitely wouldn't bet on it.

What has Olney been correct about this offseason? He obviously was very wrong to say Sox had no chance at Harpchado.
