Joel Sherman was saying how the Yanks really like Raul Ibanez too, the guy has been working his way up on coaching staffs for a while now. Wouldn't be surprised his spanish speaking ability is another factor they like about him. I think the Sox are just fine with Ricky and he'll get better as the Sox get better.

Cashman took that Yanks team to 1 game of the WS, he made a couple nice moves that really helped down the stretch.

He produced last year when given the chance, hopefully he is a nice surprise.

ESPN posted a graphic on twitter saying the 98 yanks were the only team in the modern era to win a WS with 2 or fewer losses. There's a team in 2005 that went 11-1 to a World Series Championship....

I love a world series where the winner doesn't annoy me no matter who wins. That being said, really hope the Dodgers win it.
