I'm rooting for the Yankees in this because they helped the White Sox, while the Astros screwed the White Sox over. Go Yankees.

Had an incredibly tough time deciding who to cheer for. Never have liked the Yanks so my natural inclination was to pull for Houston. But, I really like that this Yankee team is built vastly different from the Yanks of old that spent there way into the playoffs through numerous high priced big name free agents. Plus, Todd Frazier is such a good guy and the rest of the Yankees are quite likeable.

Go Yanks.

Tanaka vs Keuchel in game 1 tonight at 7 on FS1

My wallet wants Yankees, my heart wants Astros.

But also, I kind of want to s*** down the Astro's fans throats for insisting they didn't need Sale or Quintana.

Karma came back to get Sanchez again last night. Dude took another direct hit to the jock from a foul tip for the second time in the playoffs. Payback for sucker punching Detroit players during a brawl?

Watching the pregame, man Frank Thomas is just such a mountain of a man. Makes arod look tiny.

Altuve is a machine

Ex White Sox continue to produce for the Yankees this postseason. Robertson, Kahnle, and Frazier all look great.

Hopefully the Sox got fair value in that trade. Since no cash was involved, Frazier's deal was up at the end of the year and the goal was to tank, I think it was. But it depends on the return's performance.

Frazier: RBI double

Kahnle/Robertson: 4 IP, 0 runs, 1 hit, 1 BB, 3 K

Where would the Yankees be without those guys?

We still ended up paying Tyler Clippard over a million for his services, so some cash there. This trade looked bad then and it looks terrible now if we're being honest.

Probably a bad play, but a great result.

Verlander was awesome.

Great game!

Astros are a very, very good baseball team.

So glad we're rebuilding in their mold. We would have to be very fortunate to have the players develop the way Houston has succeeded, but it feels so much better to have a direction similar to teams that have achieved success.

Verlander and Giles were so key for them. Without those two this team wouldn't be where they are.

And they really should have Kris Bryant

Frazier with a 3 run home run over the short porch in RF

But the ball isn’t juiced. Just ask Manfred.

Altuve is so much fun

Wow. Yankees sure love home cooking.

1-4 on the road. Undefeated at home in the playoffs.

Gray vs McCullers at 4:08 CT

This could be a high scoring game and a fun one to watch.

Shoulda walked Judge.
