  1. I'll be watching again tonight, got 7 hours til my preseason re-air. Let's go sox!
  2. QUOTE (AustinIllini @ Aug 28, 2015 -> 06:35 PM) Every facet of this team gets more and more embarrassing by the day. It's just so infuriating. That's why I don't watch. I watched last night because of Trayce.
  3. I'm ready for KW to leave. Love him for bringing a championship here, but it's time. I'm 50/50 on Hahn also. Would love to get someone from STL in here that has been around a great organization and knows what the f*** he's doing.
  4. QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Aug 28, 2015 -> 06:18 PM) Who is the replacement? Literally anyone. Ramirez has been below the definition of replacement level this year by a good amount. Just throw any AAAA guy in there if you want to go cheap. If they think they are gonna contend then find someone that could possibly give you 2 WAR but replacing his production? Shouldn't be a problem. I will say it would be the most Sox thing ever to rush Anderson based on a hot spring. God I hope that doesn't happen. Would really like to see him get another year to refine everything without the pressure of the big club. They need to be patient with him. He needs AAA next season.
  5. We know what LaRoche is. Let's see Trayce the rest of the season.
  6. I'm definitely in the wait and see mode. He's not had great success in the minors. Let's see how he finished the season.
  7. Rodon needs to build up stamina like Blacksox said. He's not showing signs of wearing down. How many starts does he have left?
  8. 2 young prospects carried the team. Nice to see.
  9. QUOTE (chitownsportsfan @ Aug 27, 2015 -> 11:03 PM) Wait, people are seriously saying the Sox should pick up Ramirez' option? That's just crazy talk. He'd be lucky to get a 1 year deal at 6 million on the open market let alone 10 million. 35 year old SS coming off a negative WAR season, come on folks. The vast majority of his value is tied up his defense and there is absolutely zero reason to believe he's suddenly going to pick it up again at 35. Check his defensive metrics this is the 5th straight year of decline and this year he fell off a cliff he's 2 runs above average. That's not even close to good enough with his bat. Yup. It's time to move on from him.
  10. QUOTE (fathom @ Aug 27, 2015 -> 09:42 PM) 4 good at bats Trayce is hitting it very hard. I'm interested to see adjustments teams make and how he adjusts Ovah!
  11. I can't complain about the lineup. It suck outside of a few guys.
  12. Hasn't got the curve over to start the count all night yet Elias keeps throwing it
  13. Rodon rolling. Has a chance to go the distance if he can keep quickly getting these guys out. At about 75 pitches
