He thought the Sox had the game won w 6 outs left. Second time he's made that mistake this year and he's getting burned again.

Albers rode some miraculous luck. He sucks, needs to be gone from this team ASAP.

I can't handle another 8th inning like this.

These games are too important to be using Albers if they are anything other than obscene blowouts.

I know we all wanted more, but that's a big run they got in there.

This thread is taunting powers we do not fully understand. I only hope the baseball gods look down upon InTheDriversSeat's insolence as his own failing, and not that of our Sox.

Indians at White Sox (notes/thoughts)
What happens if he doesn't show up? Does it fall to me, author of the WINNER thread? I cant handle that kind of responsibility.

I agree that Saladino has done a lot to impress during this slump and should be seeing more PT. Sox are really trying to find a lineup that works, though, and Saladino has to be a lock to play in game 2.

Garcia not playing the last few games
Out of the lineup again today. I'm beginning to suspect injury.

Indians at White Sox (notes/thoughts)
It's all hands on deck at the big league club. Have to get out of this constant frame of mind where developing players, instead of winning big league games, is the main goal. If the Sox think Sanchez helps the club win then he stays on the 25. That's the end, NO MORE REBUILDING.

Early Trade Speculation
A guy I would be very interested in is Chris Archer. I wonder if there's something the Sox see in him they could "fix". Archer is probably the closest thing to an 'ace', and it would require some luck and some work to him to rediscover that ability, that the Sox could get w/o sacrificing Anderson. Might not even have to give up Fulmer or Adams even. There's been some dip in velocity but nothing catastrophic and he still racks up the strikeouts, his struggles have been due to walks, HR and just giving up hard contact in general. The Sox have shown an adeptness to fixing that fault, hard hit balls, in pitchers. Odorizzi wouldn't be bad either. I think the Rays are one of the few rosters to have a lot of interesting names, but also probably wont stay in the race much longer.

Early Trade Speculation
This is hardly a comprehensive list. A lot of the AL is still bunched up, particularly the AL Central (minus the dead Twins) and the AL East. In a month there will be some separation, like an AL East team or two dropping out of the race or at least being put in a similar precarious position as the Tigers or Angels are right now.

Worried about the gamethread. Really cant afford bad mojo going into a DH against our main rival in the division.

2016 MLB Draft
I thought it was impossible for Rodon to fall to 3, and that happened. MLB draft is weird.

and THAT is a White Sox Winner
3 runs in a win is excellent 3 runs in a loss is bad Such is baseball. The win is all that matters.
