Bad OF contracts? I count Myers in one of the corners but the other spot is projected for NRI and former Sox legend Nomar Mazara. And then Grisham in CF.

A lot of decent to good relievers signed for less than we gave these guys and for one year. Crazy. Looking at the free agent tracker, I count 8. Sign 3 of those guys and you’ve suddenly saved significant money haha

Even if we don’t have rosters expand, assuming we don’t bring in anyone else in, the 26th spot is going to Romy or Mendick. I don’t think it’s that crazy for him to make the Opening Day roster over either of them. If rosters are expanded, even better then.

If rosters are to be expanded to begin the year, idk how you don’t open the year with him on the roster. Especially when your last roster spot is Mendick/Romy.
