IMHO..... with the exception of a few starts where he was shelled, he has been good enough to win most of the season. Only recently has MB been getting anything that resembles run support.

DefTones are better than 75% of the crap out there today. For those in the Chicagoland area, the DefTones are regulars on Q101 and goddamn..... is there some s***ty f***ing music played on that station. DefTones, on Q101, are heads and tails above most of the s*** played on that station. And Bmr..... "Minerva" is a good tune.

One thing we do have is alot of potential 1B and LF's. Thomas is in his twilight and, unlike some on this board, I'm not ready just yet to give up on C Lee..... even when he does dive for baseballs he has no chance of catching. But plays like that, as misguided as they may be, tell you that this guy is giving 100% and trying hard even though he sometimes f***s up. If he develops a little bit of plate discipline and slightly better defensive skills, C Lee could become a monster. And time is still on C Lee's side, unlike Thomas.

Always has been. Loaiza's had a hell of a run though that cannot be denied. Esteban is the only one that kept this team somewhat respectable in the standings for all of April, May, and some of June. Loaiza and MB are 2003's White Sox ACE'S
