I'm willing to take that chance. JR has ruined the White Sox in Chicago. If a new owner comes in and decides to move the team, at least the taxpayers of Illinois will be relieved of paying for Reinsdorf's Folly at 35th and Shields. I have pretty much resigned myself to the fact that the White Sox will NEVER be a serious contender with JR as owner.

He still wants to play at the major league level. According to this EPSN story, Henderson's OB% was higher than Eckstein, Soriano, and a number of other lead-off men in the league. His teammates in NJ even said that his perceived clubhouse demeanor is a bad rap..... he always has time to help the players and is accessible. At this point, I'd try anything and the thought of the Sox adding Henderson crossed my mind while watching this ESPN piece.

I know there are Jerry Manuel backers out there, but those things point directly to leadership. Add in the lack of talent and here we are at 20-23. Has anybody told you that you make alot of sense Bmr? I know some here think KW is the problem, but I've been saying that the fundamentals, or lack of fundamentals in the White Sox case, falls directly on the shoulders of JM. JM is a s*** manager and it is time for a change. Don't stop at Ward. Don't stop at JM either, the problems go all the way to the top. We need an owner that actually gives a damn.
