maybe not his game, maybe others? We have been lacking a certain flow, a certain chemistry - It has nothing to do with Jimenez though cw. We haven't been getting the timely hit when we REALLY need it. Jimenez has been guilty of this this season but so has Valentin, Thomas, Ordonez, Konerko, Lee, Crede, and Rowand. A few snafu's aside, Jimenez has played a very acceptable 2B this season. Some of the posters on this board have let their personal relationship with Ray turn into hate for Jimenez. After all..... Ray was the model for unselfishness during his stint on the Southside

Oh I'm with you HSC. Be even funnier if he was at GUG's facility and GUG had to sit on him and watch him all night because he threatened suicide . The difference here though LDF is that Jimenez gets on base and, so far, has exceeded his weight in batting average

Alot of players have sucked offensively up to this point..... one of them being Konerko. Why is no one dissecting his AB where he hit a solo HR ?

it was a good pitch if you had a 9 iron in your hand....he hit it off his shoe tops....i think it was his vlad guerrero imitation killa, would you say that it was a lucky hit? Yes..... it was lucky. But I don't see how harping on the count during one AB which produced 4 runs in one swing is going to make a slumping hitter slump even more. I usually agree with Baggs but I really don't know where he's going with this .

If GUG is working where I usually see him, I doubt that Dybas is being held at that facility.

Nobody's praising him..... some of us just can't figure out why others can't give Carlos just a little bit of credit for hitting a GS..... slump or no slump. if he would have worked the count to 3-1 and then hit the granny..he would have gotten praise....do you want carlos to take that approach in every at bat from now on??..swing at everything..strike or not??? its a perfect example of why he has stranded so many runners from 3rd with less than 2 outs...next couple of weeks..he wil strand more than his fair share...probably more than anyone else o nthe team..then when he hits his 7th career grand slam we will have this same conversation all over again... carlos is in his 5th year..he should be a leader by now..a guy other players look up too...he still acts like a rookie...the guy just doesnt get it How come everyone else is so concerned about the count when Lee hits a GS but not whenever any other White Sox player hits a HR? Lee said today in the post game that he was looking for a pitch that he could drive to RF but the pitcher hung a pitch he could drive. Would you be happier if he hit a single on the same pitch?

Crede isn't as slow as Konerko but I have read somewhere and I'm sure most here know that PK has a degenerative hip which slows him down.

Walking around I did notice that there were more fans in the heated areas through 4 innings than there were in the stands. Can't say I blame them..... I've sat on those metal or plastic seats on a day like today and they are cold.

I was there for about the first four innings. Great game. But I was walking down the ramp when C Lee cranked his bizomb. When I heard the fireworks fully knowing that when I left, the Sox had a 4-0 lead, I started to breath real easy for the first time this week

Stewart (or Wright) need to come up as big to even make the argument. Until JG shows some consistency, the jury will always be out on whether the White Sox will ever compete for best SP in baseball.

Let's hope. Without that brain-fart and wild-pitch by Garland in the 1st, JG pitches 7 scoreless against an 11-1 team. And Loaiza showed he could dominate one team other than Detroit. Suddenly, the heartbreaker on Tuesday doesn't seem as bad as it was Tuesday night..... until you realize that we could have (and should have) swept the series from KC without the batting practice pitching of Botch

I had to do the same thing today to a "diehard" Cub and self-proclaimed "baseball" fan that I work with. The dumb look on their face when you break this news to them, and the fact that they (knowing you're a Sox fan) don't dare disagree with you (because as a Sox fan you know your baseball stuff), is usually pretty priceless to say the least.
