    THE HAWKS

How many Turner Cups have the Wolves won? 2 maybe? How many Stanley Cups have the Hawks won? 2 or 3 I think. I know the last time they won the Stanley Cup was in 1961. And, believe it or not, there are many more Hawks banners hung from the UC for the Hawks than there are for the Bulls..... although the Bulls have more championship banners. And the fact that JR was the owner of the team for all 6 makes me wanna :puke
  2. First off, I don't know how a one word answer..... "bulls***"..... "indicates basic (total) lack of knowledge what am talking about here." My point wasn't that there is nothing that we can learn from these people. My point was that these people devoted their lives to fighting social and political injustice only to be brutally raped (Ford, Donovan, Clark, and Kazel) and/or killed (Romero) fighting for social change with a group of people that understood nothing but violence. I am familiar with the Archbishop Romero (I even saw the movie starring Raul Julia) and what he tried to accomplish in El Salvador. My point was there is a subset of the human population that understand only violence. Violence is how this subset achieves an end. Consequently, nothing these four martyrs "could teach or share" could be used to achieve a peaceful end with a Bin Laden or Hussein. And in response to Apu's assertion that we should look at ourselves for blame after 09/11 because of US policy towards Iraq (and other Middle Eastern nations) and the sanctions that the WORLD agreed upon to after Operation: DESERT STORM..... What the US and the WORLD did was purely diplomatic and political after a dictator forced himself and his citizens to the resulting world they currently live in after an aggressive and VIOLENT occupation of a neighboring country to which Hussein thought he had historic claim to. The US didn't intentionally target civilian targets (WTC) to achieve a means to an end. And before you repeat the oft asked question, "What does 09/11 have to do with Iraq?" Ask Bin Laden as he has mentioned DESERT STORM in countless audio and videotapes as an affront against Islam perpetrated by the zionist states of the US and Israel. Instead of displacing blame from the Bin Laden's and Hussein's of the world for 09/11, perhaps your leftist ideologies would be more readily accepted if you were to fight for women's rights in countries where women are treated like dogs by the same men that deify Bin Laden. These countries and their leaders that you defend use: Violence to achieve a political end; Violence to punish criminals; Violence (threatened albeit) to support the fanatical whims of a dictator; Violence to promote social ends (i.e., Husseins 100% "re- election vote); Violence against women..... See a trend here Apu? This is where the real social injustices lie. Not the US.
  3. Rocco Graziosa..... you think he's Italian? And next time Wells comes to Chicago, I'm gonna dial 9 goddamn motherf***ing 1 f***ing 1 because it was bulls*** what he f***ing did in two thousand f***ing one and I was just motherf***ing offended.
  4. Chisoxfn brought it up..... But the hatred and attitude doesn't come from messageboards. It comes from dealing with these nitwits everyday at work, school, media, bars, etc everyday during the summer. Sox fans see the second rate treatment we get from the media (remember 2000 baseball sportscasts and newpaper reports?), bars (go into any bar..... chances are the sCrUBS monopolize an 80% chunk of the baseball wall), and casual baseball fans who, in this city, care more about the ballpark the team plays in than who is more deserving of fan attention. Not that the Sox Organization is without fault. I've been following this team because of the way my dad brought me up for as long as I can remember. But this team is one or two more fan alienating moves away from me boycotting Comiskey until JR sells the team and KW resigns, goes to another bush league organization, or is fired. After following this team for 28 years, I've had about an ass full of this s***!
  5. no asian is gonna come to comiskey just to see shinjo...unless his family lives here Thank you Baggs. We're probably averaging somewhere around 20,000 a game now (if were lucky). Casual baseball fans may have heard of Shinjo but I can practically guarantee that they'd think Matsui is a new DVD player. Even though Chicago may have the 3rd largest Asian population in the US, there is no way that you are going to get 20,000 Asians out a game to average 40,000. Here's a novel idea..... How about JR and KW go out and sign a Maddux, Glavine, or Colon and a top notch OF or IF or trade for either/or or both? You'd get the same attendance reaction that way too. But, as always, JR's cheap f***ing ass is looking for the stop gap instead of the game breaker and KW is looking to "roll the dice" again. PA-f***ING-THETIC!!!!!
  6. I thought it would take Dusty Baker till ST at least before he'd say to himself..... What the f*** have I gotten myself into? I guess I was wrong
  7. Still nothing on how the leftists would deal with the Bin Ladens and the Husseins of this world. And, as a general point here Apu..... using statistics compiled by Amnesty International to back up your argument is tantamount to using statistics compiled by the NRA to back up an argument against gun control. Amnesty International is as left as you get. I would expect statistics from them that would back up your claims exclusively as gospel. Perhaps I'd buy your argument if you had statistics from a more moderate source. As for white collar criminals..... last I checked the US Congress just enacted a litany of new laws to protect the workers and shareholders of US owned companies from fraud and debunking similar to what occured at WorldCom and Enron. This was handled diplomatically..... the US military didn't storm the WorldCom or Enron office execs so you should see the good in these new laws. And, in case you haven't been watching the news lately, many of the higher-ups in these fraud cases have been indicted and are awaiting trial. As for the death penalty..... the reason why it isn't a deterrent is because the people most deserving of capital punishment are rarely sentenced to it as their fate. And if they are, there are so many appeals that they will rot on Death Row and zap the taxpayers out of more money trying to have the sentence lessened to life-in-prison. Trust me..... if page 6 of the Sun-Times and Tribune had 5 or 6 names of convicted murderers, rapists, child molestors/abusers, etc that the State executed EVERYDAY..... you'd see a big f***ing deterrent effect. The fact that gangbangers frequently recruit juveniles to commit gang murders of rival gang members shows a deterrent effect of present day laws and the punishment ascribed to each offense by the court. The adult gangmembers know a juvenile will not be eligible for the death penalty and will not receive as harsh a sentence as the adult would. Think these juvenile bangers would be so willing if they knew they'd end up on page 6 if caught? Now..... give me your Amnesty International statistics to debunk that theory :****

    THE HAWKS

    It's still the Hawks.
  9. The criminal justice system in this country is a joke. If the courts had clue one on how to deal with Ligue (the father) he'd have been in jail for all his previous offenses. As for the punk kid..... quit making him out to be the victim. His life path is set towards violence and lawlessness. Good thing a liberal lawyer will be there to defend his best interests after he batters or maybe kills the next person that, to quote the little Ligue, "looked at me and flipped me off" a certain way. Where's the voice in this country for the victim?
  10. Bulls***. Then share your ideas on how to deal with a Osama Bin Laden. Or Saddam Hussein. Those that advocate force have been asking all the leftists on this board for months now for their ideas on how Bush and the US should handle this situation. All we get are more f***ing links to liberal, sometimes borderline Socialist, garbage. Being moderate in my political views, I wish the whole Middle East crisis and the War on Terrorism could be settled with all sides sitting down and hammering out an agreement that all sides could agree on. BUT THAT ISN'T GOING TO f***ING HAPPEN..... NOT TODAY, NOT TOMORROW, NOT ANYDAY!!!!! What the Romero's, Fords, et al had in common is that they just couldn't come to the revelation that some people..... your Bin Laden's, Husseins, Islamic Fundamentalists, etc..... don't understand anything but violence.
  11. Well..... if he is an anarchist, I hope he plans on using chants and burning incense to pacify a potential threat to his lifestyle if anarchy reigned. However, something tells me Apu would be one of the first in line to buy an assault rifle to defend life and family.
  12. It's not just us Mario. Talk to some of my friends that are Cub fans. All i hear about is "Beautiful wrigly, Beer, and sammy. Then i hear, "Sox suck, Comiskey is in the Ghetto, Fans are afraid to go there, your fans cant even fill half the park, ect. f*** THE CUBS AND f*** THEIR FANS! The reason i hate the Cubs is because of their fans. :**** The word "fan" when attached to anything sCrUB should be used very loosely. Most of the nitwits that pack the Unfriendly Confined could care less about anything to do with the home team. Ask a sCrUBs "fan" what team Todd Hundley played for before the the sCrUBS. Additionally, ask a sCrUBS "fan" which team ShamME Soso played for before the White Sox. Or where Harry Carey announced before Chicago's Southside. I'd be willing to bet 7 out of 10 sCrUB "fans" would not know the answers to the aforementioned questions (I know 7 out of 10 on this board know the answer to all 3 and I, along with most here, HATE the f***ing sCrUBS). "f*** THE CUBS AND f*** THEIR FANS" is my goddamn war cry!
  13. He may have. I'm not completely sure because I don't follow the A's. The game to which I was referring to was shown on ESPN..... that's why I can remember it. And, I want to say it was against the Yankees..... but I'm not sure who they were playing.
  14. Prepare for the leftist rants against corporal punishment. You've been warned
  15. Absolutely. Remember what happened to Crede his first two stints when he was rushed to the Sox? Expect to see the same from Hummel if he is with the ML team this season. Crede (and countless others League-wide) have proven that you cannot rush progress. P.S. Crede's problems in his first 2 stints may have come from him not playing everyday..... but that is a different theory and subject for a different thread
  16. Plain and simple, the girl sounds like a clueless b**** and that you can do a helluva lot better. I'm gonna go with the fact that her boyfriend is probably some neanderthalic f***twit assbagging dingo cockchewing motherf***ing IROC driving asspope with an IQ equivilant with that of a jar of mayonaisse. I know girls like you have described. They're such a pain in the ass. Best to just forget her and move on, man. She'll figure out sooner or later that she's an idiot and she'll see how she farked up. There are a lot of girls out there, just don't worry about a relationship, be yourself and have some motherf***ing fun and it'll all happen. My guess is that she had a fight with her boyfriend and needed that little self esteem boost. Seems to me like you can do a helluva lot better because there are a lot of much cooler girls out there worth your time moreso than this little floosie ice princess. Wow! I actually agree with you Apu..... and you forgot that he is probably a locker-room-towel-snapping-flaming-hetero-football player who thinks stuffing an AV kid into a locker will further enhance his masculinity.
  17. Maybe you misread the signals Roman. But, remember this..... once a woman realizes the power she has in her vagina, she will use it for all it is worth. For example, most girls will flirt with guys if they know they can get something they want. You should see how much money Mike South and Guido go through at a bar or a Sox game trying to get a chick's number. These little prick teasers flirt and laugh at South and Guido's lame ass jokes and show geuine interest. But once South and Guido buy these ho's a beer..... the broads move onto the next batch of suckers But who knows..... maybe she was single when she flirted with you and, since you waited a bit, threw it back in your face for waiting. But you'll spend your whole life trying to figure the "fairer" sex out, and, just when you think you got it all together, they'll throw you for a loop again. It's a never-ending cycle. My advice..... acknowledge her when you see her with a smile and a "hello"..... talk to her if she strikes up a convo with you, and try to date her hotter best friend
  18. What does taking a piss on a ball attached to a urinal have to do with being conservative? Maybe I don't get it because I am moderate. Well, conservatives don't like limitations on capitalistic ideas. So, I figured that they wouldn't wanna limit something as grand as "PeeBall" Uh huh..... and if "PeeBall" became so popular that the money paid for the accessories was enough to feed the whole world's hungry would the idea cease to be a Conservative/Capitalistic idea and one of Leftist Liberal thrift? The great thing about America is that if you have an idea (as stupid as it may be), the means to produce the product, and a consumer base to buy the product, you could become a billionaire in the terribly Capitalistic USA. That's really a terrible thing.

P.S. Eminem won't be relevant 40+ years from now like the Beatles are. GUARANTEED!

    Is it just me?

Maybe it's the crack that makes DoubleM so liberal.

Bob Dylan exceptional? I must have missed the bus on that one :puke The Beatles are the definition of exceptional though. I can't think of one group with so much influence in all of Rock and Roll. The true genius of the Beatles is that much of the music..... lyrically, structurally, and symbolically is still relevant today. And that includes much of McCartney's, Lennon's, and Harrison's solo stuff.
  23. Oh yeah, I forgot..... this "poster boy" with so much to offer the world, was already on probation for BEATING HIS MOTHER and various drug offenses. This is our fault too. :puke
  24. A bleeding heart liberal will generally take the view on Ligue's son that it was not the son's fault for jumping Gamboa and beating him. That it was OUR fault, his father's fault, his mother's fault, Grandma and Grandpa's fault, his neighbors fault, his aunt and uncles fault, the beer vendors fault, the concessionaire's fault, the ticket seller's fault, anybody but HIS fault. I get so sick and tired of this displacing blame bulls***. Allright..... I opened the door..... I feel the liberal rants coming on now
