I'll get excited when the Bulls beat a real basketball team.
-
While I agree with Murcielago that we got the better of this deal, one thing this team doesn't need now is another defensemen and a goon who's better with his fists than with putting the puck in the net.
-
Figures you'd be one of the few to summarize this signing like this. You sound like my sCrUB fan friend who was trying to tell me that Sirotka is now John the Baptist to Prior being Jesus Christ. Most pitchers are able to begin rehab after labrum surgery in 9-10 months. Sirotka has just began throwing again. It's been two years. He's done.
-
Who knows. I'd bank on it though that Baker stays with SF or signs with the Mariners before you see him on the northside.
-
Don't worry about that. KW isn't gonna pick up a starter, at least one we'd like to see, this offseason.
-
It would cost less than executing him
-
At this rate? I think those two (especially JR) killed the White Sox a long time ago. Only reason why the Sox weren't mentioned during contraction talk was, IMHO, because they have a relatively new stadium and JR/Selig are as snug as two bugs in a rug.
-
I'm done cheering for Sirotka. I never cheer for ex-Sox players seduced to the Dark Side. Do you still cheer for Bere? "F" HIM! He's the enemy now. CubKilla cheers for NO sCrUBS!!!!!

The only curse hanging over the BlackHawks heads is their cheap f***ing owner Dollar Bill. The BlackHawks curse MIGHT be lifted when he croaks..... I say MIGHT because that cocksucker had offspring

Injury not withstanding, Barry Sanders would have left Emmitt Smith is his dust a long time ago.

Only a douchebag from ND would wear a shirt that brags before a bowl game. And just like is tradition in ND, the Irish will go down in flames come Bowl Time. Is it just me, or are ND fans worse than Cub fans? Not even the Cubs came out with a shirt in 2001 after their strong first half showing, when they were in first place. I don't remember a Cub fan wearing a "The Tradition of Losing Ends THIS YEAR..... CUBS VS. ????? in the WS" during the All-Star game festivities.
-
Anybody put money on the f***ing Bears? :puke
-
Oh.....
-
Who TF is Wedge?
-
I'm assuming he got those odds a long time ago. 45-1..... only a crackhead would give you those odds the day of game 7 in the WS.
-
I'm not sure I would call it falling NUKE. I still stand by earlier assertions that this team was more lucky last year than good. Urlacher has been a non-issue so far. He was everywhere last year. The opposing offenses have learned how to, so far, limit his effectiveness. Mike Brown has been a non-issue this year. Jim Miller and Chris Chandler are proving me right once again. Miller isn't that good and is injury prone and Chandler's time has come and gone. I, personally, thought Chandler would do a somewhat better job than he has but he has sucked as bad as the team. Combine all this with the fact that you have drunk drivers and injuries on your starting lines, and this spells L-O-S-I-N-G!

Wasn't the Organizations exact words but KW said there were not going to be, something along the lines of, significant changes during the offseason at seasons end. And that phrasing only comes from one man..... JR!
-
..... has gone from suck to blow! The Vikings D just got goddamn safety! Excuse me..... I think I am gonna be..... :puke
-
He'd legalize pot at least. soxfan420 could be his VP
-
You expected different NUKE? Like I said at the seasons start..... with Shoop at Offensive Coordinator and Miller and/or Chandler at QB, the Bears will be lucky to finish 7-9. :puke Shoop
-
No he didn't. I saw him walking around with his guards. He better get the damn national guard for this year. If he shows up. I can't wait. And speaking of people that never show up, why doesn't JR ever face the fans at SoxFest? According to some posters on this board, he's owner of the friggin' Century so there should be no problems
-
Well put. Nobody here is saying spend millions on has beens simply because of name recognition. We've all been saying this team needs a quality starter for months now. Think JR is gonna seriously pursue a Clemens or Maddux? Get real. This, in a season, when the White Sox host the All-Star game, the taxpayers are paying for more renovations to JR's designed park(money is coming from the Soldier Field Project coincidentally), Thomas salary will be deferred (if he's on the White Sox), and ticketprices have been raised after two seasons in a row where the White Sox were fortunate to finish .500. After all this, a decent owner would ATTEMPT to turn a corner. Not JR though. He's pretty much already said there will be no "blockbuster" changes this offseason. So how do the JR sympathizers defend this?
