The Sox aren't going to trade Lee..... not until the 2003 season has begun anyway for a few reasons. Right now we have a hole in the OF. Unless Borchard does a 180 in ST, I don't see him making the team. More than likely, Borchard will begin the 2003 season in AAA leaving us, right now, with a starting OF of Lee, Rowand, and Maggs. Trade Lee and, for all intents and purposes, you have two holes in the OF..... and a starting 2003 OF of probably Liefer, Rowand, and Maggs. At this point, the Sox Organization shouldn't rush the progress of Borchard. He is only 22 and has plenty of time to improve and show us what he can do later on in his career. Crede had two stints before his call-up this year. He failed to produce in the first two call-ups because he was used in spot starts. Borchard is the type of prospect that, like Crede, needs to play everyday. He isn't going to get that if the OF situation of right now doesn't improve. The only way I'd be for a Lee trade, right now, is if we can package him in a deal to acquire a PROVEN, VETERAN, MORE CAREER WINS THAN LOSSES starting pitcher.

I don't give a f*** about that. I just want to see Burhle make it to 20 wins. The news on that will be hard to find in Sunday's paper if ShamME hits number 500 on the same day that Buehrle wins 20

I doubt it..... C Lee at full-time DH that is. I think Frank will be back next year. Not many teams that can afford a Thomas are looking for a full-time DH and the NL certainly has no use for him..... means he'll have to play the field. Just a gut feeling I have. They'll invoke the clause but he'll have no other choice but to play for the Sox.

That would be tight yo .

He's not human though

Anybody see this jerkoff leaving jail? I saw footage of it on THE BEST DAMN SPORTS SHOW PERIOD. He walked out whistling, not a care in the world. To summarize what he said..... didn't feel bad for hitting the woman..... when reporters told him she was taken to the hospital, he pretty much said, that's too bad..... told reporters he was a working man and had to get back to work to pay his bills, and a he accepted a ride from a stranger, whom Moss described as a "Real Vikings Fan". The stranger looked like he had been set up once or twice by the man too. It was so pathetic that even Michael Irvin and John Salley told Moss to, "Grow up," and stop acting like a thug. Hard to do when you're a thug in the first place.

I think LDF did it that way because another White Sox board was told to stop posting full articles . The publications want the articles linked but not reproduced in whole. Also, direct quotes should be footnoted.

That's what we all said about Parque, Howry, Barcelo, Rauch... I'd wait at least a year for him to be back at 100%. Yup. Seems that a pitcher coming off injury needs at least one full season to regain flexibility, strength, and full arm range-of-motion (if it was an arm injury).

Just goes to show you how much I pay attention to the other teams in baseball when my team is out of it. -

Aren't that Angels automatically in with the BoSox loss last night? -
I'm sure it's sore. I bet even the best are sore after they pitch the day before. But Biddle has made his last 3-4 starts in the rotation so hopefully it isn't anything to do with last years surgery..... just soreness and tightness after throwing 70-80 pitches (not including warm-ups), some in the mid-90's.

It has been said by others here so I will reiterate..... a staff that generally doesn't go any deeper than 6 innings, regardless of how they are pitching, will encounter stamina problems. Case in point..... Saturdays game against Minnesota where Rauch was taken out after 5, I think. At the time, Rauch hadn't pitched FOR WEEKS, had a 3-4 run lead, and the only runs scored by Minnesota were solo HR's..... not to mention, in his last inning pitched, he pitched out of a jam after a lead-off double. I understand JM and the Organization want to keep the pitchers healthy but when a guy hasn't pitched for weeks and he's owning the opposition, there is no reason to take him out because he's on a pitch count. Find out where his stamina is. Ever wonder why Garland, Wright, Biddle etc. get into trouble around the 6th or 7th inning? Conditioning my friends. Sometimes the aforementioned are taken out because they have encountered trouble but, more often than not, I'm asking myself why the starter is being taken out. One of JM's many flaws is that he relies on the bullpen entirely too much.

Anybody's better than Nardi. Reinsdorf should let the fans run the team. Most of us were calling for Nardi's carcass last season. The staff, as a whole, doing better since Nardi's departure isn't surprising to me at all.

1.) Fire KW 2.) A Clemens or Maddux-type of FA starter 3.) Another OF if Borchard isn't ready by next season's start 4.) The Organization needs to know exactly what they are going to do with Harris. Minors=Keep Valentin. Majors=Trade Valentin, move Jimenez to starting SS, and pray Harris finds his bat.

If Moronotti had to write a fact-based article on the White Sox, besides the team, he'd find he has nothing bad to write about. So he makes s*** up just to prove his point. Moronotti is an idiot. I refuse to read his crap anymore..... unless it's an article written by him trashing his beloved sCrUBS. -
I have no doubt in my mind that Crede could have contributed more, both offensively and defensively, than K-layton whom JM continued to trot out at SS for the last 2 years. While I took a wait-and-see approach to Crede this year because of his previous two call-ups, I must admit that Crede has, so far, exceeded my expectations.

Radar gun was clocking him tonight at 94 MPH on his fastballs. I'd say his arm is feeling pretty good right now. And let's not forget..... before he forgot to take his anti-inflammatories last year he was starting to come around. The Saturday day game at Comiskey against the sCrUBS comes to mind. I think Biddle could evolve into the White Sox number 4 or 5 guy or work in spot starts. He looked good tonight against a team with 91 or so wins last I checked.
-
Yeah they are. They're winning percentage against the playoff teams is .333. The only reason they are where they are is because the White Sox were lousier for most of the season. Also, the Twinkies beat up on the teams that the White Sox should have beat up on too (KC, Detroit, Cleveland, Tampa, etc). I think I heard that almost half of the 2002 Twins starting lineup are FA's at seasons end.

The magic HR number for Maggs and Paulie is 3 to get 40 for Maggs and 30 for Walnuts. Let's go guys!

Well, they just announced they found small amounts of Marijuana in his car. Just enough for a petty midemeanor, but nothing has been charged yet. Whats the NFL's drug policy if Moss has the substance in him. I hope the NFL gives him his drug test right now. I WANT THIS SON OF A b**** THROWN OUT OF FOOTBALL!!! This cock sucker assaulted a woman with his car, obviously smokes grass and is an overall f***TARD! Throw him in jail & let his sorry ass rot there for a few years. Too bad that probably won't happen. He'll show up in court looking like a million bucks with his high-priced lawyer who'll work out some BS community service sentence that will be put off until after the football season is over. Although, from what I hear, what he did is a felony wherever it happened so who knows.
-
YEAH! Who the f*** does she think she is? It's probably just a case of the cops f***ing with a successful, black pro athlete. Get real man. Moss is a mope. Always has been. Just because she was a "metermaid" it doesn't give anyone, Moss included, the right to smash, tap, bump, etc., into a human being with an automobile, regardless if she had the authority to stop him or not.

11 of 16. Fortunately, some of the real females I picked as men. It would be worse if I thought the real men were women. Good proof that when you go out drinking with the boys you better all have each others back. LOL

If you had to pick your poison though.....
