I must be one of the only ones that didn't give a flying fig when Ray was dealt to the A's. If he wasn't swinging for the fences in every at-bat, he was displaying shoddy range..... albeit better range than K-layton (funny no one picked up and "upper echelon SS" for the playoff run). For all the time Ray spent in a Sox uni, he wasn't what anyone would call a team leader. Say what you will, but I'll take Manos at SS and Jimenez at 2B in 2003 over Jimenez at SS and Durham at 2B.

Is this the same Jesse James that Al Gore was talking about last week when he was criticizing Bush's Presidency?

We're just trying to get some of our stars back

Oregon? If two of the teams can't survive in Florida how will a ML franchise survive in Oregon? BTW, I heard that St. Louis is interested in obtaining one of those three teams if the Cardinals build a new stadium in Illinois and they will call them the Browns. Don't think it will happen, but FYI

White Sox Three Strike Trivia Game (need contestants)

Offer yourself as a prize. Not only will you get people to sign up you'll get all the hold outs at WSI to come over. She could be Davers "Eva Braun" -
In '91 the objective was to liberate Kuwait. That mission was successful. Bush was hamstrung by the legislation signed by the great Jimmy Carter which stated that the US will not actively: 1.) Participate in a coup of any foreign country; and 2.) Actively participate in the assassination of any foreign leader of a country. There you go. Schwarzkopf wanted Saddam's ass and could have had it handed to him on a platter. But, as the civilized society and not the savages commonly found in the Middle East, we followed the laws set forth before us by past leaders..... no matter how inept some of our leaders were at the time.

Yeah..... it's pretty bad when a regular season home game on TV is about as likely an occurence as a White Sox home playoff win. and i remember when the hawks made the playoff, the building was sold out and he still refuse to put them on. Yeah. Go out and pay $69.99 a playoff SERIES for f***ing HAWKVISION. "Dollar" Bill is the cheapest piece of dog s*** EVER!!!!!

Sorry Chisoxfn..... but when the f*** have Cub fans cared about: 1.) Baseball; and 2.) Who's managing the team? As long as they have s*** beer, ivy, and the Unfriendly Confined you could put a circus monkey with a spin wheel out there and those dips***s could care less.

Or Steinbrenner or Colangelo or..... It's quite a feat when you make JR look like a million bucks. "Dollar" Bill is THE f***ing worst owner EVER!!!!!

I REALLY DOUBT THERE'S GOING TO BE A WAR IN IRAQ ANYTIME SOON. THESE PEOPLE AREN'T TOTALLY STUPID. THEY REMEMBER WHAT WE DID TO THEM BACK IN 1991 & THEIR MILITARY IS NOT EVEN A SHELL OF WHAT IT WAS BACK THEN. IN CASE YOU GUYS HAVENT READ THE NEWS LATELY, THEY ARE ALREADY SET TO ALLOW THE INSPECTORS BACK IN. IF WE DO HAVE TO GO IN THERE THOUGH...WELL...HEHEHE ITS GONNA BE QUICK, ONE SIDED, AND VERY DEADLY FOR THE OTHER SIDE. i am afraid that iraq is going to use these bio and nuke weapons. All I know is what I've heard from news reports. The media says that if they have any type of nuclear or biological device, it is most likely "small grade" and the only real threat would be to Israel, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Iran, Egypt and Iraq itself. The nuclear or biological fall out most likely wouldn't effect the US one bit. The question then becomes, how will Israel and the affected neighboring Arab nations decide to handle a fall out situation and who will they blame? Backwards f***ing Arabs will probably blame us. At least we know where Israel will stand but will Israel retaliate if provoked by a Saddam SCUD attack against US wishes? This is what the US needs to determine. Time to teach the Arab nations a lesson

Mutt is being nice about it. He did have one of the most awesome blocks I've ever seen on the 108 yard TD return after the missed FG though.

From the looks of it, I'd be surprised if they didn't arrest him and charge him with aggravated battery. That still pic looks worse than the crack from behind that McSorley was criminally charged with a few seasons ago.

I said I'll do it but I don't see my name on the list. -
J Paul in LF?????

Jimenez, Marte, Honel, and Borchard haven't proven anything at the ML level yet. Marte was decent this season in an unspecified role. If JM names him the set up man or, more than likely, closer for next year it will be interesting to see how well he does. If memory serves correct, Marte did pretty good this year when brought in with nobody on but was less than reliable when entering games with RiSP.

His brains are in his ass. He's already proved this over the last two offseasons. Nothing he can do will change my mind. Sorry..... RESIGNING will change my view of KW

Green Bay is ALWAYS a must win :metal

Basketball is so much better

LMAO!!!!!

Good point RPS..... but I don't care. The progress guys like Biddle, Wright, Porzio, Marte, and, to a point, Foulke made after Nardi was canned is proof enough for me. Let's see what he can do given a full season from ST to, hopefully, the playoffs.
