He has the most interesting stat page in baseball. The gap between 2017 and 2021 and the sheer dominance this year at both AAA and MLB.. how did he do it? Kudos to the Sox for not throwing him in AA and leaving him there.
I love both Sheets and Burger and would hate to see them traded at this point. I understand that the roster is stacked and there wont be room for everyone however.. A great problem to have, but the inevitable will sting.
I think people who are disappointed in Moncada are expecting his 2019 to be his floor and thats just unrealistic. We might never see the 2019 version again but hes still very productive. I don't think hes a 2 or 3 hitter right now however.
