    Burger was such a polished hitter in college. I'm one of the few who liked the pick at the time based on all I had read. I actually targeted him in my mind. It would be very interesting if he put it all together. But then you've got the old Hawkism...where's he gonna play?

    You talking the Paniagua game?...I was there in the upper deck. I was never at a game before that fans felt lousy after a win. The stadium went from elation to dismay as we could feel the Twinkies have life breathed back into them.

    My wife asked me, "why are you not watching the game?" I told her, "I missed the 1st inning on Saturday, they scored 8 runs. Missed Sunday and they scored 9 runs. Just followed on the computer yesterday, they scored 9." Now today....I'll follow on the computer until further notice...JUST IN CASE ?

    Can you imagine if they start sprinkling in some more of the long ball as it gets warmer, like Grandal's 3 run blast last night. Are we in for multiple 10+ runs scored games this summer? Sounds like Fun.

    I was listening to Fred Heubner a couple of weekends ago and he said he went to watch a game at the alternate site between the Sox and Cubs and Lopez no hit them for 5 innings. Maybe Katz and the staff can unleash that Lopez potential...one hell of a game changer if they are able to do that.

    Soria did do much better than I expected...I guess the memories of those like Teahan and McDougal outweigh any successes in my mind. Of everyone you mentioned, I would probably see what it would cost to get Gray.

    Bullpens are crazily inconsistent from year to year, hell even month to month. Cody might be back in time but this year Ruiz is looking pretty damn good and I would like to see him get some more high leverage innings early in the year and see what we have.
