Chase has had a bad defensive play in every one of these games. He is not going to make many spectacular plays so he needs to make the regular MLB plays at SS.

Ok, random useless comment from Uncle Wegner... The 1st time I saw an opener was Tampa Bay against the Sox and the Ray's pitcher struck out 5 out of the 6 he faced and then he didn't come out for the 3rd inning. I didn't understand the point of it that day and to be honest I still do not understand the point of the opener.
