There are other bidders in on Hendriks, and another team aggressively meeting his ask could take him away. But the Sox have shown they will shop at the top of the relief market in the past, giving David Robertson a four-year commitment in December 2014, amid another offseason when they were trying to spread their budget across multiple needs. Sorry, the conspiracy was that Beef is connected more than we may know and Codify liking his stuff and retweeting him may show that he may know more about Hendriks signing with the Sox than he lets on.
