  1. He's not amazing but hes lefty, hits for a decent average (.280 last year) and has a bit of pop.
  2. Madrigal is good and I would love to keep him but I also understand that his overall production is easily replaceable. If you can get a good pitcher for him, you do it. I would hope the Sox can take advantage of teams trying to cut payroll and not have to include Madrigal but in all likelihood they will. Signing a pitcher is ideal but after Bauer there is a huge drop off. I am for trading Madrigal because: 1. Kolten Wong or Tommy La Stella are actually better fits for this team. and 2. Standing pat with pitching and letting "the kids figure it out" is not an option at this point. It just is what it is. It's time to put all the chips in.
  3. Yeah when the left handed sluggers available aren’t as good at hitting righties as the right handed superstar available
  4. If it’s the White Sox vs The Blue Jays, I like the White Sox chances.
  5. No he said Bauer AND Springer are unlikely. He literally wrote an article saying the Sox were targeting Springer.
  6. Cmon guys tell me this isn’t hilarious?! And I wouldn’t have found this account if it wasn’t for Adam Maloney ??
  7. All I know is that if it wasn’t for beef and burger this forum would be pretty dead. It’s all hillarious
  8. I would love Blackmon
  9. Do you know Portillos Hamburger’s track record? Better than most insiders we deem as reliable.
  10. Keep doing you Adam. Your posts bring the only conversation had on this board lol. Those burners are entertaining if nothing else.
  11. Depends on what you call a huge piece. The only huge piece the Sox have is Vaughn in my opinion. Madrigal can easily be replaced. Kopech is a wildcard at this point.
  12. Marquez out of Coors could be very Bauer like for a fraction of the $$
  13. Bruce Levine sucks, unless he’s reporting Sox stuff. Dude definitely is connected to our FO
  14. If they lose Springer and decide to do a tear down.
  15. I agree he has never been right lol
  16. Never thought of that. That’s a possibility maybe he’s all 3.
  17. Dang, they are an alliance. Throw them all out.
  18. One thing for sure if whoever cheesy is, he/she does not like Schins LOL so it’s definitely not Schins
  19. Thanks for sharing. Looks like they are out on Ozuna
  20. Schins is so bad he makes Not Cishek and Al’s Beef look like Rick Hahn and Kenny Williams
  21. I have said this for years and I still say it. Grandal is the #1 catcher in the game. I like him over realmuto
  22. If the Sox aren’t going to spend on a great starter (they should but we know how they work), who else can they possibly trade for one?
  23. Wong was a 5 WAR player in 2019 and is consistently between 2 and 5 WAR. He’s also a gold glover and lefty.
  24. With the Katz hiring, it sure seems like Jerry told Hahn: let me have my guy and you can have the rest of the staff
  25. If they sign Springer, is there a team in the MLB that rivals that lineup?
