  1. QUOTE (MDWhiteSoxFan @ May 13, 2016 -> 07:38 PM) Did Hawk just make fun of Avi's looks? Also he looked like vintage Avi that AB. First pitch swinging Lol what did he say
  2. I am really curious to see how that 4 game series vs the cubs is going to play out. If both teams continue the way they are, there will be some sparks in that series.
  3. QUOTE (chw42 @ May 13, 2016 -> 07:08 PM) Jimmy needs to stop with his little leg lift in his pre-load. It's making him late on fastballs in the zone. I know he had issues rolling over early in the season, but there's some guys you shouldn't wait on against. Severino's one of them. I think he can do the leg lift all he wants lol
  4. That really shows how important defense is to winning ballgames. Gotta catch the ball, number one rule in baseball.
  5. Hawk can stop saying Kansas city special now. Pretty sure KC isn't getting many of those this year so far.
  6. QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ May 13, 2016 -> 06:48 PM) Melky rarely strikes out. He has more walks than strikeouts. True, but I think the way our lineup is constructed, we need Melky hitting behind Frazier. He's our 3rd best run producer. I agree with placing Ajax or Lawrie, but like I said they really don't have a true 2 hole guy.
  7. QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ May 13, 2016 -> 06:44 PM) Second most ABs with the bases loaded this year, only trailing the Cubs. And you can add another with that Frazier walk
  8. QUOTE (chw42 @ May 13, 2016 -> 06:43 PM) There's no reason for Rollins to hit 2nd right now. They don't really have a true number 2 hitter. Rollins is the best they have...maybe saladino?
  9. QUOTE (Heads22 @ May 13, 2016 -> 06:26 PM) lol. 96. And the first fb to texeira was 91. He's sneaky.
  10. QUOTE (OmarComing25 @ May 13, 2016 -> 06:19 PM) Was Melky walking to first? Yeah couldn't tell for sure but seemed like he wasn't exactly busting it down the line.
  11. I really like Plesac in the booth. He knows what he is talking about and complements Hawk well. Natural commentator voice.
  12. QUOTE (ChiSoxFanMike @ May 10, 2016 -> 10:46 PM) Did anyone watching the CSN broadcast just hear a kid say "penis", or am I hearing things? Lol Pretty sure the vendors are yelling peanuts lol
  13. QUOTE (SonofaRoache @ May 10, 2016 -> 10:39 PM) The Sox need to trade for a number 2 type pitcher. Rodon and Latos are about to crash and burn. The Sox have the best pitching staff in the AL by ERA. I don't think pitching is a priority right now. If anything they look for another bat, one that can drive in runs, preferably left handed and under 32 years of age.
  14. At this rate it will take more than 8 runs to win the game.
  15. Like I said...gonna take a lot more than 4 runs to win this game lol
  16. That wind must be doing some magical things up above that ballpark
  17. I have a feeling its going to take a lot more than 4 runs to win this ballgame...I also think the Sox are gonna have a nice offensive night so shouldn't be an issue. Don't count out Texas yet, remember they can hit. Need to score those runs out there on the bases right now.
  18. That was a good job by Todd not trying to do too much with that pitch.
  19. QUOTE (joegraz @ May 10, 2016 -> 08:32 PM) Lawrie has been swinging for the fences for the past few games. Hopefully they aren't trying to swing for the fences in this wind
  20. QUOTE (flavum @ May 10, 2016 -> 08:30 PM) Rodon has been pitching like a guy starting his 30th big league game. He'll be fine. I think he will get better as the season progresses like at the end of last season
  21. QUOTE (soxfan85 @ May 10, 2016 -> 08:29 PM) Rodon has been garbage. I wouldn't say garbage quite yet. I would say ineffective however.
