Make it a rule that if a pitcher leaves a game due to injury during the 3 batter minimum the pitcher goes to the 7 day DL for 1st offense. 15 day DL for second offense. Maybe make an exception for being hit by a batted ball.

Pay him! Have him excited to come to his new team and new home. Don't lowball him so that he goes through the motions until opt out year.

I could see a 3 batter minimum OR finish the inning rule. It will speed up the game because of fewer mid-inning pitching changes. It might even add some offense. I like the 26 man roster too and it might lead to more pinch hitters, pinch runners, defensive replacements, or platoons. That adds more strategy to the game which to me is good.

I had lost touch with watching Sox games. My cable is Wisconsin crap so I didn’t get Sox on TV as much. But I had a conversation with a fellow Sox fan and.i realized something. Even if the Sox were not rebuilding and were on my TV, I would watch nearly as many games as I used to. I only have so much time in life for sports. And I watch about 150 softball, 30 volleyball, and 15 basketball games a year. Kids in sports takes up huge time compared to when I was a kid. I don’t care that a game is 3 or 4 hours. I barely have time to watch highlights in the summer.
