  1. If you're serious about rebuilding, then don't trade any of the pitching. Trade all of the hitters except Morneau & Saladino as they are the only players who know how to work the pitch count. Get back hitting prospects who have demonstrated the ability to work the pitch count.
  2. About how long do you guys expect this rain delay to last?
  3. J.B. Schmuck swung on 2 pitches outside of the strike zone. What a loser.
  4. At least Morneau knows how to work the count.
  5. QUOTE (Feeky Magee @ Jul 21, 2016 -> 09:01 PM) Narvaez isn't the guy. Kevan Smith might be. How can you dump on Narvaez when he's hardly had any playing time?
  6. The way that this team goes about hitting, its conceivable that 1 run is all we will score tonight.
  7. Why does it seem as if Sox players are hell bent on hitting into double plays as often as they can?
  8. QUOTE (Condor13 @ Jul 21, 2016 -> 07:10 PM) Didn't see a gameday thread and the game was starting. You must be a glutton for punishment.
  9. Don't blame the bullpen for this. We lost by failing to engage in plate discipline aka working the count.
  10. Eaton swung on that first pitch like a drunken sailor.
  11. If the Sox lose, its all on the batters and their lack of discipline.
  12. HBP: The only way that Abreu can get on base lately.
  13. Out of all that sloppy play comes a six run ball game.....what a relief!
  14. Had to go for half an hour and look at what happened.
  15. The way Seattle has been playing, we may have just won the game despite our many faults.
  16. Whatever happened to our rookie catcher and Saladino? They could be providing some offense right now.
  17. All Frazier ever does since the HR Derby is wildly swing at pitches outside the strike zone.
  18. Shouldn't blame Robertson....blame the hitters for swinging at everything and not even attempting to work the count.
  19. Winning run is at the plate now..................
  20. These are 2 completely different players. Frazier is a completely selfish, worthless piece of garbage who needs to be gotten rid of immediately. Abreu, on the other hand, is a guy whose BA is 25 points lower than hat it should be and who has not been a clutch hitter as in the past. He did it in the past and if given time and patience can do it again. Best to lower him in the batting order and then leave him alone.
