Abreu's probably pissed after getting hit again, so he'll either homer here or strike out trying to do too much
Spot on comment.
About double the amount of posting that there was at this stage of the game yesterday. Guess this what happens when Shields pitches like Shields instead of the cheap imitation we've been seeing the past few weeks.

I'm 100% sure that's the case this week on the other side of the city as well...
So you are saying that White Sox fans are no different than Cubs fans?
I want to stay positive in a winning game thread, but I have just gotten sick and tired with all these attempted stolen bases with 2 outs.
Question is, is this Ventura's doing or that of stupid players?

Don Cooper has gotten more mileage out of fixing Matt Thornton than any coach in major league history has out of fixing one player.
Thornton is still pitching with the Padres. Perhaps we should have traded for him instead.
Aramis Ramirez is not playing for any team this year. Why not sign him up? That way, you get a veteran presence without having to give up any prospects.
What do you guys think?

Pitch trax on my phone shows the 1-0 to Anderson literally right in the center of the strike zone and called a ball?
Gameday showed the exact same thing. A gift from the umpire?
