Only reason I asked was cuz I'd volunteer to do it. Damon K'ed looking. Walker got out [didn't see how] Garciaparra K'ed. 0 -0 going to the bottom 1st.

Who's doing the inning information for those that don't get the game?

I don't know about you but watching the lumbering cabbages waddle down the street is very annoying. The fact that they have to make larger SUV's and stuff like that to accomodate the people on buses [university transit...i see way too many people cramped into buses and the such] The government protects us by giving us the right to unionize, creating environmental pollution standards, OSHA, disability, workman's comp, etc. etc. etc. The government protects us from ourselves [if we get injured at work...become unemployed, etc.] all the time because people sometimes need protection. So your sarcasm that the government needs to protect us is noted however the idea that the government does need to protect us is true to an extent.

No, the great thing about America should be that you have the freedom to eat what you want. This tax is not going to be levied on only fat, unheathy people. Even skinny people that want to gorge themselves once in a while will have to pay it. It's a 1% tax. It's not of Draconian proportions by any means.

Hence the reason I'm trying to get her to let it go.

She and I have some personal history. That's what it all stems from. It's a drawn out soap opera.

PSA...its NEIL

Brando, what is trivial is in the eye of the beholder. But I'm making a judgment call [and it's also true, so it gives it that extra bit of legitimacy] that Heather should really LET IT GO. If anything, she's only more consumed by her anger while I laugh my ass off. And I really don't want to see her stoop to levels like that. As much as her and I don't get along, she is above holding onto anger. Though, if she wants to continue to be angry and harbor all that negativity, she can be my guest.

Murcie, you're 0 for 1 in my book so far, so I'm giving you another shot. My 21st birthday is on Thanksgiving this year. Anyway, looking for some suggestions for some fine tasting [and relatively inexpensive...hey, I am a poor college kid] booze for my b-day.
-
Wow Heather. You really got me. What a fantastic cut down. Did coming up with that take you all night? Have a great day, Heather. Life's too short to harbor hate over something so trivial in the grand scheme of things. You should really try letting it go. It's quite a refreshing experience.

The Wrigley security opened up a can of whoopass on the guy.

May 16 3 years ago @ Wrigley when they had the Dodgers nearly start a riot cuz the Cub fan stole a Dodger player's hat. A guy who got arrested for it although he didn't do anything except be in the wrong place was injured badly in the fight thanks to Dodgers players and Wrigleyville security. He sued them...and the verdict. The Cubs owe him $475,000. f*** THE CUBBIES!

I think the corporations need to be held accountable for what they serve but it is also the responsibility of the malnourished 380 lb. families to read labels about what they are putting into their bodies. And the great thing about America...if you don't like the tax, don't buy the product.

Somebody is harboring some rage, eh? U of I has the United States government high tech super computer on our campus. That's why in the KGB declassified documents, Champaign-Urbana was #3 on the list of sites the Russians would nuke because of our strategic importance during the Cold War. It used to be housed in the Foreign Language Building: It was built that way because if a bomb hit the roof, the building would fall outward instead of inward in order to minimize damage to the super computer. Now the government super computer is in parts, all over various parts of the UIUC campus.

I got told by my advisor [a priest, no less] that I should be a rodeo clown despite getting a 27 on my ACT and getting into the school I wanted to go to. Then again, the entire advising department was screwed up there. One guy thought I was depressed because I never got into National Honors Society [i never filled out the papers to apply because I didn't want to be in it] and then they thought my friend was cutting herself [she wasn't] and they kept doing things like that to make themselves feel needed. ACTs are meaningless for the most part. Hell, a kid I went to school with scored 2 points higher than what the monkey did when he took the test and got into Duke [does help that the kid is over 7 ft. tall] And ISU [ill. State Univ.] Sucks!

Garland pitches a 3 hitter and we can't get him a win. This is f***ing bulls***.
-
Rios pinch hitting for Olivo. Rios GIDP. Game over.
-
Bottom 9. 3 outs to get 1 run for the tie, 2 for the win. 7-8-9 up for the Sox. Padres bring in Rod Beck to close. Daubach pinch hitting for Crede. Daubach walks. [Runner on 1st, 0 out] Josh Paul comes out from the bullpen to run for Daubach. Rowand popped up the bunt to 3rd base. [Runner on 1st, 1 out]

8 IP, 1 R, 3 H, 4 BB, 4 K for Garland Loretta grounds out to Valentin. Klesko grounds out to Valentin. Rod Beck warming in the SD pen. [Guess that winnebago in Iowa wasn't cool enough, haha] Burroughs walked. Burroughs steals 2nd. Koch didn't even look over. Buchanan fouled out to Konerko. Twinkies tied it at 7, Bottom 6th. And the bottom of the order is coming up for the White Sox 9th.
-
Koch has been called in.
-
Just go to www.bartcop.com They posted it there in the weekend issue, I believe.
-
Valentin flied out to right center. Thomas warning track power flyout to left. [JUST missed a HR] Magglio walked. [Conference at the mound] Lee base hit right up the middle. Runners on 1st and 2nd. [Another conference at the mound] Konerko grounds to the pitcher who can't handle it, shortstop gets it and throws Konerko [piano on his back and all] out at first by a step. Going to the 9th, 1-0 SD
-
Garland has 116 pitches. He is pitching one helluva game. Mendez grounds out to Valentin. Matthews Jr. chopper two hopper to Jose and gets the out. Kotsay grounds out to Graffanino.
-
Top 8th. Garland still in and still 1-0 SD. Arizona is now winning 7-5 in top 6.
-
Hackman comes in for relief for SD. [RHP] Rowand on 1st with 2 out. Olivo with an infield single. 1st and 2nd with 2 out. Very nice hustle by Olivo. Graffanino K's. [sox 2 for 9 with runners in scoring position today]
