The NL has been the better league the last couple of years.

Palka wasn't great but he went from being the guy with one of the highest exit velos in baseball to looking like Billy Hamilton with the bat. He hasn't hit a ball hard all year.

Hard disagree on Kiermaier, his offenisve numbers took a dive the last two years into basically becoming unplayable as an everyday player and he is always hurt.

Cole/Strasburg would be my dream scenario for the top guy, but I would be fine with Wheeler. The guy I would love to add as the second guy is Archer. There is a chance the Pirates will go into teardown mode and won’t even pick up his option.

Leury doesn't look comfortable at all in CF tonight He must have trouble picking up the ball, these are DeAza-esque routes.

My comp for Collins is Jack Cust and I am sticking to it.

Dickerson and Castellanos would be my best case scenario as far as realistic signings go. Sox need 2 starters, spend the money you saved on these two there.

Dickerson is a poor man's Michael Brantley which is a pretty damn good player. Would prefer him over Polanco, Mazara or Gordon

He is 15th in WRC+ among first basemen, the very definiton of average. There are more pressing needs for the Sox, I am just afraid they do something crazy like a 3 or 4 year contract.

Looks like Abreu's hot streak is over, still not huge on bringing him back, but the FA market is brutal.
