  1. Im sure at the time nearly everybody thought what they did at the trade deadline was impressive one way or another
  2. lmaooo you guys will trust the likes of harold's left leg but wont trust cishek who has proven to be right time and again, just picking and choosing who you want to believe ?
  3. the front office cares about the public perception. In order to keep his source Cishek probably says whatever they want him to say. And they want sox fans to think they're being aggressive and working hard, which signals to me they're trying to save face for when nothing happens before the lockout.
  4. right but it's interesting that we were in the mix
  5. Friarbrad had us in the mix for Jon gray
  6. bring castellanos home.
  7. opinions can be different than reporting, but fair. nerds aren't the smartest sometimes
  8. We have major positions of need and only one can seemingly be solved via free agency (right field, second base, starting pitcher (unless we're thinking Kershaw or greinke)). That seems like a problem. Either a problem with use of resources, or lack thereof. Still in the bottom ten of top contracts given out. Plenty of offseason left to work with, but these common themes are annoying
  9. Is it time to stop R-E-L-A-X 'ing yet?
  10. come out to play rick!
  11. Con O For was a 0.8 war player last year
  12. I agree that over the course of their careers conforto has been better defensively, but I was specifically referencing the last year. Overall conforto has proven to be the better defensive player, but last year he wasn't good and defense isn't a valid reason to sign him over schwarber
  13. cali I was referring to Southside2k, not you. You have clearly demonstrated the ability to use the internet
  14. I have to hold your hand through the point of everything don't I? The point is, if you used google and went on to baseball references website, and did a little bit of scrolling and looking at "Standard Fielding", the numbers under Fielding Percentage, RDRS, and RTOT would back up what I have said. It takes all of one minute to do that, while it would take much more time for me to look at all those numbers and do a side by side comparison on sox talk. And I don't care enough about the discussion to do anything remotely close to that. I can tell you are over the age of 35 and don't quite understand the state of the internet, but this is how it works. Do your own research and fact check me if you think I'm wrong (I'm not the numbers are right in front of me) and come here and post about why I'm wrong
  15. hahahahaha I love when you interject
  16. googling or using baseball reference hard for you?
  17. this is sox talk not a murder trial
  18. google is one tab over he's a big boy who can look at the numbers and interpret them himself. I want to hear his opinion on them, not a reflection of mine. Dunce
  19. The general standard fielding numbers that are right there. Im referring to fielding percentage, rtot, rdrs, etc.
  20. In the message you quoted? look at their stats on BR
