  1. As Ive argued countless times, rick hahn (and especially whoever is doing the major league scouting) has been bad for almost their entire tenures. Doesn’t know how to supplement a roster. At least now we know for sure that there will no playoff series won under his watch. We now know the only thing we can root for is for the team to be sold and front office to be completely replaced.
  2. He doesn’t just have ties to Jerry. He’s on record saying he owns a small share of the club. He has a real World Series ring. He defends the budgetary restrictions like his life depends on it. Jerry should sell the team if he has trouble with cash
  3. If you’re going to the games come to tap 14 in denver on blake street to pregame
  4. Oh how the tables have turned! Glad you have moved over to the light after our discussions in November. Hey hey! Ho Ho! Hahn and co have got to go!
  5. They’re made men. And hahn is a cubs fan. Doubt they really care.
  6. Hey hey! Ho Ho! Hahn and co has got to go!!! Hey hey! Ho Ho! Hahn and co has got to go! I remember talking in November about how poorly hahn and co have done most of their regime and got absolutely ridiculed by southside2k and chicago white Sox. Come out to play now boys!!! Absolutely pathetic roster that’s been constructed.
  7. Major league scouting has been dog shit for a long time now. Got absolutely ridiculed for saying it and saying we should not trust Rick hahn to have a good off-season. And he sure didn’t.
  8. We seem to be pretty tight against the budget right now tho
  9. What's the point of trading kimbrel if they're not going use the money? jimmy seems confident that they are waiting but do have offers on kimbrel. But he's not confident on conforto. Are they trying to trade kimbrel merely to be under budget? the front office and rumors have me scratching my head
  10. But bullpen is the single most volatile position in baseball. And even then, they didn't have to go and sign three of them to player friendly deals. Especially when there are bigger, more important holes to fill like guys that play everyday in RF and 2B.
  11. Well was there some disconnect between Hahn and Jerry? How did he know the budget but also do this bad of a job preparing for the offseason? Why did he refuse to upgrade needs? Was there a misunderstanding as to what the budget was? This just makes no sense.
  12. sorry it's a rhetorical question, wish I could bring some sourced news here for ya.
  13. (what if they don't have any offers for kimbrel at all)
  14. As someone who feverishly called out the front office back in November for their inability to allocate funds efficiently and identify and analyze big league (not minor league) markets correctly, and got yelled at for those takes, it's nice to see the board wake up to the ineptitude of this front office.
  15. Great information that i appreciate hit men. So in worst case scenario (which is a complete possibility at this point), waiting to make the moves that fill the needs of the ballclub is a mistake, because we will have no time to make those moves (if it gets to this point of course). The worst thing that could happen to us is ending the lockout in like june and starting the regular season a few weeks from there. Would give us no time to fill our holes
  16. anyway, the avalanche are winning the cup
  17. reported today that the blackhawks are going to try and use statue of limitations to dismiss the kyle beach case. What a classy organization
  18. what happens if the lockout lasts until june? Im assuming they would give teams enough time to make moves to the start of "pre season" (usually known as spring training). This ix completely unprecedented to me
  19. November 15th at 7 A.M: NSC tweets that the sox are interested in conforto. At 1 p.m. the same day, jimmy says they are interested on soxtalk. They are the first two to specifically name conforto. He had kimbrel (or mancini) as a trade target and the same package that he proposed l in a twitter poll. It was also the same one he had offered for burnes and was the first to specifically mention burnes. Although Jimmy was the first to mention brewers as a trading partner for a pitcher. This is no offense meant for jimmy at all, I trust him at RaBBit the most. DA wanted me to go back through it and I did because I was open about NSC being a fake, but it's only confirmed to me he does have some semblance of sources. Weirdly it seems they do seem to release information at or around the same time, and they're tidbits that feed off each other and both of them have been "first". They follow each other on twitter along with raBBit. I think they hear the same things. Idk if it's possible for me to change anybody's minds on NSC at all so this seems fruitless lol
  20. you did exactly what I said people would do, unironically. Wow you are a sheep
  21. I typically compare the two i am definitely going to right now
  22. Ah so you don't actually have any reasons, it's just logical fallacies! Because he doesn't just list every player lmao Steals info? what information has he "stolen"? Thats ludicrous. He doesn't even give that much info out
