Marx did not expect the rise of white collar workers and economic interpretations of history are not the only interpretations that history can be based on is the two main points that I disagree with Marx on. There are other highly addictive drugs on the market that are very dangerous for one's health [cigarettes anyone?] yet they are legalized. Cocaine is cocaine and the penalties should be the same although I do not think that throwing them into a prison is the best solution. Keeping them in prison is only a good idea if it is coupled with an attempt to get them clean and sober and off drugs, something the prison industrial complex does not do very well. And yes, we do agree on the decriminalization of marijuana. Cops should be putting away violent criminals. That's a low blow...Someone has to be pretty confident to leave a good job like BMR said he had in Texas and just uproot and start a new in Vegas. I think that's a good indication on his confidence that he'll get another good job there even though he didn't necessarily have one lined up.. Me on the other hand, I would have to have a job lined up if I was even to move to the next town over...And I think BMR knows posting on Soxtalk ain't gonna pay the bills...
