Ducksnort
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 14, 2016 -> 05:05 PM) He was throwing just fine when he left. I'm pretty sure if memory serves he was the most reliable one in that pen in 2016, aside from Jones. No indication of injury at all.

PolishPrince34
Tilson you get 6 years of control and you saved close to $7 million from this year and next years contract.
Balta1701
Wonder if there's some insurance that covers that deal for the team. Anywho, end result = this is one more team hunting for a LHP reliever. The White Sox could use one of those, so there's extra competition. Chicago White Sox
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Oct 15, 2016 -> 03:47 PM) Wonder if there's some insurance that covers that deal for the team. Anywho, end result = this is one more team hunting for a LHP reliever. The White Sox could use one of those, so there's extra competition. I don't expect the Sox to go for it next year, so I'm not sure it's a huge area of concern. Having said that, I fully expect Brian Clark up at some point next year and for us to sign a guy or two off the scrap heap. Doubt we'll be going after any big name left-handed relievers.
