Does anyone here know what impact these acquisitions have on our 40 man roster?

Eaton subtracted. Giolito and Lopez added. I believe the Sox are at 39 and can pick somebody tomorrow.

That would make it 40.

Double check that.

From my count, the only guys that need to be added are Moncada, Giolito, and Lopez. Everyone else is left off. They are at 39 right now. Plus factor in these are trades, not signings, so they are absolutely fine right now.

I thought they were at 38 earlier and this move would put them at 39? Maybe I misread.

I mis-read his first comment.

Moncada has to be on the 40 man he was called up last year for Boston. Same with Giolito and Lopez. I believe the Sox had one extra spot, subtracted Eaton and Sale, and added Lopez and Giolito and Yoan.
