December 7, 20169 yr From my count, the only guys that need to be added are Moncada, Giolito, and Lopez. Everyone else is left off. They are at 39 right now. Plus factor in these are trades, not signings, so they are absolutely fine right now.

December 8, 20169 yr Moncada has to be on the 40 man he was called up last year for Boston. Same with Giolito and Lopez. I believe the Sox had one extra spot, subtracted Eaton and Sale, and added Lopez and Giolito and Yoan.
