December 17, 20169 yr There’s a new farmhand coming in, too, as the Rangers added righty James Dykstra from the White Sox in a cash deal. Dykstra, 26, reached Double-A last year, throwing 102 1/3 innings of 4.93 ERA ball with 5.8 K/9 against 3.4 BB/9. http://www.mlbtraderumors.com/2016/12/mino...ons-121616.html What can I say, I'm desperate for some Sox news.
December 17, 20169 yr QUOTE (SoxAce @ Dec 17, 2016 -> 07:09 AM) One of Feeky Magee's favorite (fringe) prospects is gone huh. People can trade their Dykstra shares in exchange for free Eddy Alvarez shares

December 17, 20169 yr It is nice that in place we are in now Eddy could reasonably see the show for a spell.
December 17, 20169 yr I've always wondered how much cash the teams get when making a trade for cash considerations. Anyone have an idea? I would guess $10,000-$50,000. Probably little lower than a Rule 5 pickup.
