Regarding Davidson not playing again RR said it's because he wants to give some other players an opportunity against the specific pitchers the Sox have been facing the past few games. (In other words bench one of the few decent hitters on the team to tank games!)

 

And you know what, I'm OK with that...stay with the plan.

His ceiling appears to be Alexei. Probably going to be much worse. He might consider choking up a bit. He takes that big hack like all the guys nowadays.

.250 hitter at best since he wont take a walk; probably a .295 on base percentage guy. Not very good.

 

You know he already hit .285 or something right?
