    The rotation isn't great but Pedro, Lowe, Suppan, and Burkett can hold opponents enough so that Nomar, Mueller, Ramirez, and Ortiz can take over ball games

    I agree that Boston vs. San Fran would be an awesome world series, but I am rooting for Boston vs. Florida or Boston vs. Atlanta.

    I'm going out on a limb and picking Minnesota. I just see visions of 87 and 91. They got hot at the right time. Regular season totals don't mean so much anymore in baseball. Mind you, my heart is not in this. I hate the Twins. I'll be rooting for the A's.

    I think it's the Giants turn. We all saw the effect Bonds had on everybody last year, and they ran into a team that was RED hot too and the Giants nearly beat them. This year I think the Giants are built even better then last year....they have a more balanced lineup and the Bonds effect will still be just as strong as it was last year. The depth they added in the offseason and at the trade deadline will be exposed here and will kill other teams. There are NO teams as deep as the Giants.

     

    And Bonds finally gets his ring.
