I will add that Jimenez was brought up ok precisely the right date to get the Sox an extra AFL spot.

Mendick sounds like a player that is easy to root for. It would be nice if he could become the Sox starting SS in a couple of years.

That would mean Anderson was a complete failure, which is not good for this franchise. Mendick is Scottish for Tyler Saladino.

That's likely his ceiling, seems like a defensive SS
