So.. what ever happened with the pitchers we drafted in like rounds 4-9 or something (I don't remember). Didn't we sign them all? How'd they perform? What's their expectations

I think they only drafted like 1 starter in the top 10 rounds in McClure. The rest were relievers.

Sorry I just meant pitchers in general.. I remember Henzman was one..

Their workload was maxed after CWS.

McClure pitched a few in AZL. I think Henzman was in GFL. Small work and I don't think anyone had very good stats.

Spring Training and assignments will be interesting to follow.

Tyler Johnson, 5th rd pick out of South Carolina, appeared in 8 games with Great Falls and 14 games with Kannapolis.

During his time with Great Falls he appeared in 8 games, finishing with a 1-1 record and .90 ERA.

After that, he was promoted to Kannapolis where he appeared in 14 games. He finished with a 0-0 record, 2 saves, and a 5.74 ERA.

With Johnson, while it's clear they see him as a reliever, I can't remember if they said they were going to work him as a starter in the minors. Does anyone else recall?

Here's my guess: Tyler Johnson in relief as a back end guy at either Kannapolis or Winston Salem. McClure and Henzman will likely be starting at Kannapolis.

As a matter of fact, here's my early guess for the Affiliates:

Charlotte: Kopech, Adams, Guerrero, Stephens, Danish, Covey

Birmingham: Hansen, Dunning, Banks, Puckett, Lambert

Winston-Salem: Cease, Clarkin, Flores, Solorzano, Martinez, Andre Davis

Kannapolis: Hickman, McClure, Henzman, Comito, Peralta

That's some solid pitching depth, especially in the high minors.
