May 14, 20187 yr Next up in our series of draft previews, is hurler Brady Singer, who the Sox have reportedly been looking at. All the details you need are right here.
May 14, 20187 yr MLB Pipeline says his velocity sits at 95-96, but that's the first time I've seen that. Everything else I've read puts him low 90s.

May 15, 20187 yr Seems a lot like Fulmer...in the sense that he is/was a dominant Top 5-10 program collegiate starter whose stuff might not translate well to the majors (as a starter), at least the current version. There's a pretty significant difference between 92-94 (like Fulmer) and "averaging" 94-97, more like a Reynaldo Lopez. There haven't been MANY occasions when we ended up with pitcher throwing harder (later on) than softer. Erik Johnson is another guy that comes to mind right away, whose stuff seemingly eroded over time for no obvious or physically apparent reason.
