Leury to DL, Gonzalez and Tilson up

Featured Replies

Hopefully the Sox have word that Smith will be ready after the minimum days on the DL and we're just planning to ride it out without giving any time to Gonzalez.

10 of the opening day 25 are gone in one form or another.

I definitely thinks that's the idea, all depends on Smith's ankle. Hopefully it was just precautionary. I wish we could get a timeline on Leury's knee though, he will be sorely missed.

You kiddin? Ricky's probably gonna play Gonzalez this afternoon.

After digging, for those wondering, Castillo doesn't count against the 40 man roster while suspended.  Think he can actually do 15 days in minors prior to coming back as well.  So no-one has to be dropped from 40 man to add Gonzalez.

That is good news.

Kevan Smith off DL in Charlotte.

Have to imagine he'll be in Chicago by Friday.
