June 5, 20187 yr Haven't seen an official Sox tweet on this, but the Knights might be playing spoiler here.
June 5, 20187 yr Thank fucking god. I don't think I've ever been as excited to see a quality backup catcher on the roster. Do not think I could take much more Navarro. Just give most of the starts to Smith, at least he can catch the fucking ball.

June 5, 20187 yr I'm guessing Minaya is just the 26th man and Rodon will be announced after tonight's games or tomorrow
June 6, 20187 yr So is Beck going down with Santiago to the pen and Rodon taking Hector's spot in the rotation?

The other dude who has just disappeared from usage recently is Bummer, so he wouldn't shock me any. I do think the rest of the post is spot on.

I was hoping I didn't come off as emotionally jumping off the wagon with Giolito. I admit that just last week I was ready to send him down but he has done a better job of throwing strikes the last few starts and he seems to work well with Smith. Maybe Giolito went through a dead arm period that many pitchers go through?
