I've had this conversation 87 times on here, so here is the last time. Not everybody worked for a large organization that can offer group insurance. If you had to buy insurance as an individual, most companies refused to sell to you. And the one or two that did, cut you off from the majority of  their standard networks.  All changes after the ACA was implemented. For people without coverage before, that was an improvement. But for the majority of others who used to have better coverage, a big slap in the face.
